Great stay
Had a great stay here! We were running late and the front desk staff was so helpful and kind with our stay. The room was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again when in the area. To top it off the breakfast the next morning was really good and plenty of choices. Definitely impressed with the entire experience.

We stayed here in the past and it was fine. Recent trip 7/24 the hotel was messy and the rooms were not good! There wasn’t any curtain just a very thin electric one that you could see through from outside. Won’t be back.

The overall quality of the hotel didn’t equate to the cost of the room for a night. There was some old dog poo, dust, and mold in the room. The hotel had carpet installed as baseboards that was peeling off as well. The staff were friendly and the free breakfast was great.

Nice but not the HIE Standard
This is a clean and nice stay but not the typical Holiday Inn Express. I paid extra instead of a comparable hotel based upon the typical Holiday Inn Express. In my opinion it was not worth the extra cost. It was a clean place to stay with nice linens and good beds but quite a few maintenance issues and common areas were in need of attention. Not as clean and crisp as most Holiday Inn Express & Suites. I will stay again if my only option but will not choose over a less expense solution.

Overall good. The room was clean but the public areas showed signs of wear and in need of paint, detailed cleaning, new carpets. Some signs upgrade /construction just starting in the lobby. I’d stay there again if in Childress.

Hotel was not what we saw on Expedia. Our toilet didn’t work. You could hear everyone walking around on the floor above and in the hallway. Doors didn’t close by themselves so everyone had to slam them to close them, which wakes us up all night long. People smoking weed in the front of the building. Loose floor tile in the entry way and bathroom. Bath tub was dirty inside and out. Got a room that was supposed to be queen beds and they were doubles. Pictures of the rooms don’t match the quality they state. Overall terrible experience. Please change the rating it is not this high. Will never be back to a holiday inn express.

Nice room, bed and breakfast. The hotel in areas, like the elevator, are old and need of renovation. Some areas are under renovation. It was awkward pulling into the driveway of the hotel through a Walmart parking lot (through the truck rest area). The driveway was not light up at all and hard to find. But, other than that, we liked the hotel. Please put up lights on your driveway.

Excessive Pet Fee $50
Charging a $50 pet fee without notice is extortion. We booked because it is a "pet friendly" hotel, and expected a $20-$30 fee (as typical for the industry). When hit with the $50 fee, we had no choice but to accept it. This is a remote location with limited options on a busy Saturday night after the July 4th weekend. We felt the management abused the pet traveler and I would not have stayed if I had know of the excessive fee.

The property was clean and so were the rooms. Breakfast was delicious. They are doing some renovations to the lobby so the lobby wasn’t necessarily appealing but hopefully will be when done.
