We enjoyed the stay. The location is great, just outside the downtown Chincoteague. The area is peaceful and tranquil. Although the hotel is old, it maintained pretty well, especially the plantations surrounding the hotel.

Great Staff & Location. But, we will not be back
Awesome and friendly service! Great location. One of the few pet-friendly hotels in the area. Cannot emphasize enough that the staff are great and welcoming. But, our room (room 110) was full of ants. They were coming through the walls and ceiling. There was a dead fly in the freezer and dead ants (and other bugs) all over the place when we checked in. The tub had that pink glaze that means it had not been cleaned in a long time. Imagine ants dropping in (from the ceiling) while you shower. The only place we did not see ants was near the bed (which was the only reason we didn't leave). Loved the people and the location. But, we will not be back

It was made for small people or disabled. Difficulty for tall people. There is no coffee pot or coffee in the room. The coffee shop next door had delicious coffee and pastries but long lines. The pool was refreshing however. The location was convenient.

One of the worst.
I knew this was a cheap hotel. But damn. I booked a suite bc it had a jacuzzi tub. There’s not a chance you’d ever get me in that thing. There were holes in the walls. Holes in the doors. Cleaning supplies and used drink cups around the room. Stains and crumbs on the chairs. The suite even shared a wall with the main desk. I could hear everything. All of this I was trying to overlook, until I pulled back the comforter on the bed to take a nap and the bed was plastic and had a very thin sheet over it. There was no mattress protector. Just a plastic mattress with holes. This hotel is rough. Honestly one of the worst I’ve ever stayed in. It’s literally disintegrating. I checked out nearly immediately.
