Brand new (2019) luxury one bedroom & ensuite in the heart of the Cotswolds

Finished to a very high standard with exposed beams and wood burner. Open plan kitchen/lounge with Island, separate air conditioned bedroom with walk in shower and bath. Separate WC, parking and garden.
Ideally situated in the heart of the village within walking distance of 3 pubs, beautiful countryside walks and within easy access of the Cotswold towns of Burford, Stow and Bourton.
The space
Set in the grounds of Mulberry barn (Please see my other listing) and sectioned off from the main house with its own entrance door.
Perfect for couples but can accommodate a travel for for infants.
Open Plan kitchen/Living area with wood burner and 50 inch flat screen TV
Fully equipped Kitchen with Island for dining. Oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge Freezer, washing machine and Nespresso coffee machine.
Separate WC/Cloak room
Bedroom with King size bed, flat screen TV, Wardrobe and drawer space, leading to ensuite bathroom with walk in shower and bathtub.
All towels and bedding provided.
Outside private garden with table and chairs.
Parking for one vehicle.
The picturesque village of Shipton-Under-Wychwood sits on the edge of the Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Our holiday lodge is perfectly located for exploring the Cotswolds with Blenheim Palace, the Cotswold Wild Life Park
and the historic towns of Burford, Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold and Bibury nearby.
We are fortunate to be surrounded by historical sites and beautiful countryside through which our guests can walk or cycle.
The village is on the Oxfordshire Way footpath and boasts over 100 miles of trails through picturesque villages and ancient woodland.
If all that sounds like hard work, wander down to one of 3 local pubs all within a 5 minute walk or cozy up next to the log burner.
Guest access
Guests can access the annex via their own front door. The annex is set away from the house. We mainly live in the main house (see pictures) and we share the driveway with guests. If we are around we are happy to assist guests with any requirements and helpful information.
The main house may also be let out to guests during your stay but apart from sharing the drive, the annex is yours to yourselves!

Beautiful Annex. Village and surroundings
The Annex is absolutely stunning, clean and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a wonderful stay. Chris and Liz are warm and friendly hosts who are available if you need anything and have put together a lovely environment to stay. Superb
Perfect stay, the property is well located and quiet. Completed to a very high standard, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return any time in the area. It has good pubs with food within easy walking distance, nice local walks and so much more. Owners are very helpful with information before arrival and it was a big plus. Perfection in the Cotswolds
We adored this spacious, well-appointed lovely cottage. Chris and Liz are lovely owners, perfectly communicating the best of the local sites and pubs. The village is small and quiet, but an easy jump off point for much of the Cotswolds. The great AC in the bedroom is a plus in warmer weather, and we look forward to another stay in the cool time to take advantage of the fire stove. It’s hard to describe how quaint and wonderful the Annex is!

If you ever visit the Cotswolds this cottage is the perfect place to stay. The location is within walking distance from a few excellent pubs in the village of Shipton Under Wychwood. Wonderful property and location
We couldn’t fault anything about the property and our communication with Chris. The property was immaculately presented and the welcome pack was much appreciated. Shipton is an ideal location to explore the Cotswolds and is very quiet compared to many of the ‘tourist’ areas. Nice pubs nearby too, the pick of which is now The Crown which has recently changed hands and has been renovated. The owner Andrew is really welcoming and we had an excellent dinner there. We would highly recommend Mulberry Barn Annex.

Amazing time in lovely place with brilliant hosts
My partner and I booked to stay at the Annex as a little break before Christmas and we were not disappointed at all. The host provided a very detailed information pack ahead of arrival - with information on how to get there, which pubs to visit and other attractions in the area. We arrived and the Annex was spotless. The host had even very kindly left a few beers, bottle of wine, some snacks and some milk for us to have during our stay. We spent the long weekend going on walks, visiting the local villages and relaxing in the evening by the fire - it was lovely. In the Annex the kitchen was very well equipped - with everything you could need. The TV had subscriptions with a guest account to all streaming services - meaning we could find a Christmas film to watch. If you are after a nice quiet break away then this is the place for you. I cannot rate this location high enough and would highly recommend.

Peaceful location
A great place to stay. Beautifully decorated. High ceiling and spacious. Lots of nice touches like the outdoor lights in the trees. Comes with a garden area to relax in. The village has three pubs so it's handy to eat out. Also it's easy to visit all the sites in the Cotswolds.

Top Class Cotswold Retreat
What a magnificent self contained luxury lodge in a superb peaceful location. It was absolutely perfect for us and we really enjoyed the 3 very good local pubs that served quality food and all within walking distance for us. The enclosed private garden was also appreciated to allow us to relax and chill after visiting the beautiful Cotswolds towns and villages. I do not hesitate to strongly recommend this accomodation, we loved it!

Superb luxury barn conversion
We were wowed by this property from the moment we arrived. Everything oozed quality and we felt totally pampered, from the welcome pack of beers, wine, nibbles and milk in the fridge to the gorgeous furnishings and luxury feel of the thick towels and pristine bedding. Wonderful property
Where to begin. Lovely location, immaculate inside, everything you could need, with a welcome pack of milk, a nice bottle of wine some beers, choccy biscuits and croissants. Cleanliness was to a very high standard. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming. We will most definitely book this property again when in the area.
