Pets:
We understand how hard it is to leave those canine friends behind when grabbing short breaks away in the country and so we are pleased to welcome you with your pet. The lodge is perfectly located for dog owners with plenty of pathways and open countryside right on the doorstep. The Cotswolds offer a very dog friendly environment, ideal for enjoying quality time with all the family without having to leave your pet at home.
Please note, however, that the lodge is semi-detached and, therefore, would not be suitable if it is likely that your dog’s barking may disturb the neighbours. Should this become a problem during your stay we do have to reserve the right to ask you to remove your dog for the remainder of your stay. Please also be aware that pets are strictly not permitted upstairs. If your pet needs to be with you at night I am afraid our lodge will not be suitable for you to book.
Our lodge provides a secure deck area to keep your pet safe; a stair gate which must be kept closed at all times; dedicated dog throws for the sofa and an outside tap/hose to clean off after those great walks.
Our lodge is furnished to a high standard and our primary aim is to provide good quality, comfortable accommodation for all of our guests. In order to achieve this we ask any guests bringing pets to use the throws provided to protect the furnishings in the lounge area.
We also ask that you avoid leaving your dog in the lodge alone unless using a dog cage and you are confident the dog will remain quiet and settled.
A reminder that pets are strictly not allowed upstairs and the bottom stair gate must be kept closed at all times. Please be aware that failure to comply with this particular house rule may result in your security deposit not being returned to you.
Changeovers:
Changeover days are flexible and the minimum booking is normally 2 nights although may be longer during high season periods.
Arrival time is after 4.00pm and departure time by 11.00am (unless agreed otherwise with the owner). We are happy to arrange an earlier check in or later check out, usually, at no extra charge, dependent on other guest bookings.
Access is via a key safe, so it does not matter if you are arriving late at night
A £350 refundable security deposit is required with each booking.
Sorry, no stag or hen groups are permitted on Spring Lake.
Electric heating is included in the rental price.
A small quantity of initial consumables is provided (eg. coffee, tea, milk, sugar, soap, toilet rolls, cleaning products) for when you arrive. However please note these are not intended to last the length of your stay.
No smoking is permitted in the lodge or on the decks.
Accessibility:
Please note there are 4 steps up to the lodge entrance at the front and likewise to the deck at the back plus stairs inside to the first floor. These may present difficulties for guests with limited mobility.
The smoke detectors operate on sound only and those guests with serious impairment of hearing may not be able to hear the alarm and could be at risk.
Please also note the lake’s edge is unfenced and is very close to the lodge. Whilst the deck is securely gated, young children and vulnerable pets must be supervised at all times beyond the deck to ensure they remain safe.
