PARADISE IS FOUND at Palm Paradise!
Palm Paradise offers a home with white powder sand right at your doorstep, and crystal clear blue water just steps away. The home is on the Atlantic side of the island featuring wonderful tropical breezes allowing for cooler air and a mostly bug free environment. Dining inside for more elegant meals with a crystal chandelier over the dining table or more casual out on the deck under an umbrella with views of the ocean or the stars and the sound of the waves. Palm paradise has a surf bar and coffee station. The great room has high ceilings with windows that lets in lots of light. All rooms have ocean views and sliding glass doors with access to the outdoor deck. There are climate controlled air conditioners and overhead fans in each room. Each bedroom has it's own private bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The living room has built-in bookcases with a flat screen TV, Netflix, games, and books. The kitchen is open to the great room and has all amenities including a dishwasher and microwave oven, it is a fun place to cook and entertain with counter seating.
The beach right out front is one of the most beautiful beaches on Long Island. You can walk a mile south feeling the white sand between your toes and most times you won’t see another soul. As you travel south, you will come to a protected beach that offers calm waters for swimming and snorkeling. If you travel north from the house, you will see natural tide pools, great for finding sea glass and a variety of shells
If you are looking for a romantic escape or a fun family vacation, you have found it. One of the best-kept secrets in the Bahamas is the family island of Long Island. With many secluded beaches where you can get lost in your thoughts with only the sound of the surf and warm tropical breezes.
There is a lot to do on Long Island, from exploring natural caves, snorkeling at Dean’s Blue Hole, the second deepest blue hole in the world at 663 feet. Climbing up to Christopher Columbus point to see where Columbus landed, beach combing, kayaking, visit the local museum, see multiple plantation ruins, enjoy an eco-tour of the local waters with turtles, sea rays, and colorful fish, deep sea fishing, bone fishing, straw markets with locally made straw works, salt ponds and maybe you will see the beautiful pink flamingos, and so much more. Or just relax, unwind, read a book or take a nap.
Palm Paradise is located just 5 miles south of Clarence Town, the capital of Long Island. Clarence Town features excellent restaurants, a post office, shops, and a beautiful marina.
Deadman’s Cay airport is 25 minutes north with daily flights from Nassau. There are several car rental agencies, and a car is necessary to get around. When a reservation is made I send out information for airport and airline details, car rentals info, grocery stores and more.
