Classic New England seaside American craftsmen cottage on Prudence Island. 2 bedrooms, loft, 1 full bathroom. Outdoor shower. All amenities, screened in and open air porches. Pets are welcome; large backyard. Enjoy spectacular unobstructed panoramic views of Narragansett Bay, Providence to Portsmouth including Mt. Hope Bridge.

Property includes private dock, mooring and beach. Great fishing from dock.

A wonderful seclusion
We had a great time at this house, it was well equipped, clean, and a wonderful location. The views, sunrise, quiet and bike rides were our highlights. Vicente couldn't have been nicer to work with.

Beautiful Quaint cottage
This was a beautiful place to stay! Vincent is an amazing host and makes everything super easy. When you are here, you will feel like you are one with nature. It's super peaceful. The amenities are unmatched, from the grill to the firepit, the private dock, to the towels, bedding that is included, washer, dryer, it is a home filled with conveniences. I highly recommend it!

Island getaway loaded with charm. . .
Instantly relaxed and at ease - PI was exactly the summer getaway we were looking for. Feels a lot like stepping back in time - friendly people, small roads, bikes, a general store, a lighthouse and ferry, no noise pollution, no light pollution and loads of nature to explore. Sandy Beach is a hidden gem where we started every morning. I brought 3 books to read and hardly opened 1 because I was so hypnotized by watching the horizon. Panoramic water views, nightly fireworks for the 4th, and stunning sunsets - all experienced from the 1920s cottage that is loaded with charm and character. If youā€™re an experienced boater, this is one of the few properties offering its own dock and mooring which we used every day. Every bit of stress will melt away within hours of being transported to this rare place.

A true gem with amazing views of the island! The decor is a perfect accent to the whole cottage experience. With windows that span the front of the cottage, the morning sunrise is spectacular. From the dock, the sunset will never disappoint. Canā€™t wait to stay again!

Great location!
The views are amazing from this seaside cottage. Itā€™s fully equipped and peaceful. We really enjoyed relaxing here and would love to see the gardens in full bloom. Vicente was very responsive. We will be back!

We just stayed there last week and it was PERFECT!! The house is absolutely adorable with the most beautiful view. Even sitting inside watching the butterflies and hummingbirds outside the window is like out of a novel. It is the perfect location for some R&R. I am a photographer and I was in heaven with the magical sunrises and sunsets. We will be back for sure!! A must see!!

Having spent many childhood summers at Prudence, I already knew I loved the Island but was blown away at what a gem this house was. The cottage is impeccably maintained. They really thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The house had clean crisp linens, pots/pans/dishes, games, WiFi, lovely patio furniture and too many little touches to list. We enjoyed smores by the fire pit on our last night - with the ocean as our backdrop. The cottage is an easy walk to the ferry which also has a general store. We hope to stay again.

The Perfect Prudence Stay
This is our second year at Vicente's place and we are about to book for next year. With it's private dock and little beach, lovely outdoor covered porch, screened porch and an un-covered porch, you couldn't have more options. The yard is lovely and well kept and it has been the most wonderful quiet retreat for us for the past couple of years. Vicente is a wonderfully responsive host as well. We had WiFi issues this year and he was really on top of it, sending the cable company and when that didn't work, sending us a jetpack. In the end we were without WiFi (except on our phones) for most of the stay as apparently there were issues on the whole island. Vicente gave us a partial refund for our trouble even though it was not his fault. In addition to the adorable and well appointed cottage, he really has it well stocked with kitchen and bathroom items and, BIG BONUS, it's got AC and a washer and dryer and outdoor shower. As long as my 25 and 28 year old single kids are willing to take a week's vacation with their mom, we'll be going to Vicente's place on Prudence!
