First off they didn't let you know that construction was going on during Night/Day prior to arrival. So therefore being in Room 114, you had to listen to Construction literally all night and day. There was no rest at all during the two night stay. The paint smell in the room was really strong. I am not one to complain but it was horrible experience. I would have never done this if I had known ahead of time especially for the price that I paid. Literally we slept maybe two hours a night if that. And we were 3 hours from home. Rain Storm and the rainspot was broken, or not working properly, they had to put up a canopy which fell down and was not even moved out of folks way. For Elderly or Children it was unsafe. Someone of my age, it didn't matter, but very unsafe circumstances, floor entering where they had a new entry for folks due to the front being closed was wet at all times, with no signs letting folks know of danger. This was not what I expected at a Hotel that I thought was top rated. I am sorry for this report, but it was horrible conditions.

I am elderly & people need to be informed that there is no elevator. I had been assigned a room on 2nd fl. that I could not get to. They gave me only room on first floor that was not clean. On and off during the night I heard running water which I assume was from one else's bathroom. The room was the smallest I have ever been in in a hotel/motel. I had to change hotels/motels for the rest of my trip.

They are doing construction which I understand. However the cable didn’t work in the room. We called they said the signal was fine, but had no cable all night. The room was next to the construction and smelled, but not sure what it was coming from.

Check in was at 3 and we did not go to check in until 4:30 and room was not ready. And no offer to accommodate our our inconvenience in any manor. Room was not ready until after 5. They are also under construction or remodel so a little disorganized. Rooms very clean and happy with that.

Don’t stay here. Bldg under reno. Dirty, ice only on first floor, tiny breakfast room, tiny bathroom with dance required to close door, window cover in limescale. Toilet struggles to flush. Room was clean. Needs new beds. Needs auto doors at front. Elevator access is small. And lots o smokers around.

Check-in was quick. The plumbing was under going an upgrade but did not impact us. Plenty of hot water for showers. New bathroom. Local restaurants were OK but not great.
