The Shepherd in Clemson is a fantastic place to stay! The property is well-maintained, offering a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Great location for visit to Clemson U.
I booked this hotel for its location to Clemson U. I booked through hotels.com because the rate was $60 cheaper/night than if I had booked directly. That said, I wonder if they save certain rooms for people who do not book directly. The room was small and they seemed to not want to help as much with certain things such as a promised room ready notification, it never came, and storing items for an hour past check-out. I managed without their help, but when you pay top price, it would be a nice courtesy.
