Price and value worth it.
Front desk manager was excellent in getting the room changed from a single room to a double. Everyone was friendly, they are making upgrades(painting) and the room was freshly painted and I think they are getting around to the entry doors. when they complete that it will be a nice addition.

Got what we payed for, bed was comfortable and I was impressed how well the AC worked. Good for an overnight stay on our road trip. I will add that we arrived much later than we expected and a few hours after check in time ended and they were able to accommodate that, which was very nice. Great staff!

Warning: no refunds allowed after check in. Sadly, there's a reason for that. I thought that my family would be getting a modest hotel room at the South Ridge Inn, not too far off the turnpike, based on the online photos of the room. In real life, our room and the facilities were gross and uncomfortable. The best thing I could say about it is that there were no vermin, which I was VERY wary about upon checking into our room. (Probably due in some part to the insect powder I saw the next morning on the housekeeping cart). The bathroom - a glorified walk-in closet - door and the front door to our room looked like they had been kicked in at some point. There wasn't even a map of how to get out in case of fire posted. Most of the vending/water machines were out of order. Passable continental breakfast in not very clean eating area. I should probably just end here but I would be remiss in posting this review if I did not mention the comical in-room coffeemaker. The cord to it was so short that it literally could not be used in any of the room/bathroom outlets. I feel a little badly about posting this, as the folks who run the place seem like they're trying hard and are just over their heads. Still, though, my family did not feel safe staying at the South Ridge Inn. It's best to sleep there with one eye open and then get out.

Affordable and comfortable
The deluxe room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff was great. Nice quiet area next to a drive in movie theater. Very affordable. I would and will be staying here again. Stayed there for the GB vs Browns preseason game.

Stay away.
My party arrived late with a reservation for 2 double rooms. There was only 1 double room available when we got there so the clerk offered us a room with a single king bed and suggested that 2 of us share a bed. 100% unacceptable. We insisted on getting the rooms we had booked and we eventually did, I think the desk clerk prepared the room. I suggest that you avoid this place.

It’s fine. Some of the reviews had me worried, but it’s fine. Clean, basic. Comfortable bed. AC. It has everything you need for on overnight, they even have breakfast and coffee, which I didn’t expect. It’s not the Four Seasons, but it’s totally fine for a solo stay.

Very pleased with stay!
