Very personable gentleman at checkin. He was very aware of people unloading heavy bags & helped with opening the front doors. Breakfast restocking (different staff than previous evening) was very minimal; get there early if you're hungry.

You get what you pay for. We were in Powell for the grandkids who were showing at the grand county fair. We only needed a place to sleep. It worked.

Need renovation badly. Our room was hot and a/c took a long time to start making a difference in the room. Furniture is old .not worth the money i spent

Solid Choice
The Super 8 was a solid choice for an overnight business trip. Room was good, clean. Bed was standard comfort, not over the top but not uncomftorable. Room was a little outdated. Two chairs around the desk were both uncomftorable. Bathroom is very small but efficient. Staff was very pleasant and nice! I'm not sure if they had a vending machine for snacks or drinks, wasn't able to find one on the first floor. This Super 8 will get the job done for you if you need a place to stay without the frills!

Hair dryer didn't work. The reception area was a mess. We had to come in by a back door while feeling unsafe. Not a nice place at all. Do not recommend. One good thing...the person on the desk did help us with our bags to the 2nd floor as there was no elevator. We're seniors and we did appreciate his help. I'm being kind on giving 2 stars!!

trip was booked online for Cody Wyoming not Powell with trip insurance we were on motorcycles my phone was destroyed in the rain get to Cody no reservation on files when it was ordered for Cody the manager looks and looks turns out was booked in Powell in the wrong direction so called Powell was told not refundable told them to cancel said couldnt this was only 1 -2 hours after booking the said it was up to hotels .com to cancel tried multiple times from hotel in Cody manager did too no help called back in morning to Powell manager told me too bad i was a no-show this is this first day i could access email like i said phone was ruined emails tied to this number its my work phone could do anything about it until returning to work

For an older hotel, this one is clean, beds are comfy, breakfast is not super, but ok, staff is friendly. Easy place to stay in Powell.
