Fabulous find
Fabulous find, great communication from owner, arrived late and excellent direction to rental was given. On entering the property was very impressed, what a bargain for such a lovely property. Would definitely recommend Birds Farm if your visiting Colchester or surrounding areas.

Birds farm is a lovely place to stay for the local Essex or Sussex area. Very quiet in the evenings, despite being just off a busy road. Great facilities, good comfy beds, very warm heating and well supplied cooking facilities. A pool for summer, grounds and a Summer house and a well stocked games room for kids if the weather is bad. We found it superb for our short trip and would happily return. As we were a little out of season it seemed that some of the cottages opposite ours were being updated or renovated- ours didnā€™t seem to need anything- but if they are being redecorated, they will be superb! A super stay and great value.
