Island Retreat sits in the heart of West Mersea's Anchorage area. A 2 minutes walk from the sea, close to local pubs, restaurants and the village.

It is a spacious, inviting, beach house owned by a family of watersports' lovers with off street parking.

You can all congregate in the generous kitchen, stretch out in the large south facing lounge or better yet under the parasol overlooking the garden. It's all there.

Island Retreat is a private house on a gravel road with off street parking a short walk from the sea and is suitable for upto 8 guests in 4 bedrooms.

Our beautiful home offers a large open plan living/dining room with a cosy wood burner and patio doors leading to the garden.

There is plenty of space for the whole family, with a play room to keep the children entertained, and a generous family kitchen with breakfast table, the perfect spot to come together and plan the day’s adventures.

You’ll find a conveniently placed bedroom/playroom on the ground floor with either 2 singles or a double bed, along with a walk-in shower room.

Upstairs are a further three double bedrooms all of which have views of the sea on the horizon, and a good-sized family bathroom with a tub.

You can walk to local shops, restaurants, cafés and the beach.

Family Get Together
I couldn't fault this beautiful spacious home. It had everything we needed for the perfect family get away, and the playroom and trampoline in the garden got a big thumbs up from my grandchildren. The location was great for exploring everything that West Mersea has to offer, especially the seafood! Everyone went away feeling totally relaxed! One big thumbs up for me, was that John the owner greeted me at the property in person to show me how everything worked!
