Hotel was dated but doable. Cleanliness was average, some missed areas but no bugs or pests. Area was ok, right off the highway with food options within a 5 minute walk though everything else required a car. The front desk attendant (forgot his name) was extremely personable and attentive to our needs and even assisted in extending our stay last minute. However, the was rude in dealing with a minor mixup with the extension the following day.
She refused my partner entry into the room despite his card being on file and used for both the initial booking and extension and argued with him in the lobby. She then contacted me to verify his access during a point where I was dealing with a difficult situation and had to maintain far more courteousy and grace during both. I understand bad days but far too many managers and execs are lacking in customer service, conflict resolution skills and just plain kindness these days.
