The cabin comfortably sleeps, 4 people. The bedroom has a queen-size bed. There is a leather queen size sofa bed in the living room. There is also enough room in the bedroom to use our single blow up mattress for another guest. Please contact us if you have any questions.
We have an eat-in kitchen that seats 5.
The kitchen is fully stocked with beautiful dinnerware, glassware and a full set of quality cookware, pots, and pans. You will have all the utensils and serving dishes you may need for a simple meal or a gourmet romantic dinner.
Out back in the private patio area, by the waterfall, you can grill your steaks and burgers on the large propane grill with all the utensils and propane you’ll need. The fireplace, next to the waterfall, is a great place to have a romantic evening or a special family time. Firewood is not provided.
Your horses can stay in the two Horse pastures with covered stalls and water tanks. Parking is available for your Horse trailer. Hay is provided for a fee. This must be arranged ahead of time.
You are welcome to hike the property and explore the unique granite rock formations. Please use care and limit your exploring to the lower rocks.
Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is 2 miles away. This is a wonderful place for Horse trail riding and Hiking,
18 miles south is Historic Cripple Creek. There you will find Gaming, Steam Locomotive train rides, Gold mine tours and many dining choices.
Skiing is just a little over an hour away. Breckenridge or Monarch. Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Copper, and Cooper are just an hour and 30 minutes. and there is virtually no traffic!
Hiking our nation's tallest mountains. There are seven "14'ers" less than 1 1/2 hours away. Most of these are moderate hikes. You can easily drive to any of these, Hike, go to dinner and return home in a day. The largest granite, the freestanding natural arch is just 20 miles from here. Harmonica Arch is a great hike in the Lost Creek Wilderness Area.
Pikes Peak Highway and Santa's Workshop are only 30 minutes away. Or the Crags trailhead is 20 minutes from the cabin. There you will find a beautiful hike to Devils Playground and on to the summit of Pikes Peak.
There many places to go fly fishing, including several Blue Ribbon streams and the " Dream Stream". This area has some of the best Elk, Mule deer and Pronghorn hunting around.
• ALL dogs must be pre-approved. Dogs may never be left unattended in the cabin unless crated. Guests let us know that they are bringing their dog during the booking communications.
• There is a $25 charge for each dog or horse. Out of respect for the next guests, dogs may not be on any furniture, bedding or pillows at any time.
• Cats are never permitted.
We live close to the Cabin, so we are usually available should you need something or have questions. We are just a phone call or text away.
