Soak away the tough uphill hike, or the mountain drive away in the hot tub with gorgeous mountain views Or enjoy the Garage/Game room area. This mountain home provides historic memories as well as modern comforts that will be enjoyed and remembered forever.

**WINTER MONTHS** PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING:
***Between November 1st and April 1st our accommodations differ for parking and guests accommodated. Between November 1st and April 1st, because of the chances of snow and bad weather, we only have parking available for ONE vehicle behind the house which is uphill from the house and the best safest place to park. The only place for a second vehicle is our driveway. We have a steep driveway and because of snow and ice it is not safe to park on it. If you are hoping to book between the months of November 1 and April 1st please plan accordingly before booking.***

Our family of 5 plus sister in law stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. Loved it!House is very cozy and plenty to do even with a park for the kids in walking distance near by.Great restaurants close and Santas North Pole just 4 min away by car.Donā€™t let the drive wayā€¦drive you away. There is another parking spot up at the top. The stay and the area is worth it.If you are visiting in winter time, snow chains just in case. We did it with a front wheel drive and made it safelyā€¦had snow chains just in case.We hope to come back again!

Pics are accurate, owners communication was great and stay was good. Neighborhood was great, views were great. Parking is terrible. Driveway is so steep you canā€™t park there. You actually have to drive to the back of the house to park one car. This IS COMMUNICATED by owners but not until after youā€™ve booked. Little Sus. In my opinion. Still a 4 out of 5 stars.

Other than the hot tub not working well on a few lights not working it was a very nice place to stay. Got to meet the owner because we were out of LP for the grill. He was Johnny on the spot and had a new tank installed in no time. Very nice place for the money and the owners are Awesome! Thanks for the week!

The property is charming and has everything that we needed to have a nice relaxing family weekend. The teenagers really enjoyed the game room and the hot tub. Hanging around watching television was comfortable. The house is very clean and lovely. The driveways and tiny roads leading to the property are a little bit tricky. General location of the property is a very nice spot because you can get to many things from it. We really appreciated the little touches that made it a comfortable place to stay. The beds were very comfortable!

Family Getaway
This vintage 1905 home was the perfect getaway for our family. We absolutely loved staying in the beautiful house and we thoroughly enjoyed spending quality time together playing games in the game room, relaxing in the hot tub, and eating breakfast on the deck. The location of the home was perfect for us to be close to the activities in Colorado Springs, but far enough that we could relax without the hustle and bustle of the interstate traffic. The property managers were very kind and responded quickly to any questions that we had. We look forward to staying in this property again.

House was wonderful. I love old houses from early 1900's Great location, new appliances , comfortable beds, great view from outside deck, hot tub and game room, never ran out of things to do. We enjoyed staying at this house. It is a very good house. However, I advised property manager to update the house for what they are charging for. Appliances are ancient and need updating. Both Entries are not easy with luggage but manageable. Gameroom is in the garage not attached to the house. Hot tub was excellent. Thermostat is hanging by a thread and need replacement. Lighting is dull. Outside area is practically non useable. House needs pest control. Having said this, I would still consider staying here again but needs proper management for guestā€™s comfort and right pricing structure.

My sisters and I planned a family getaway to celebrate our dad's 80th bday. We grew up in this neighborhood, so it was a trip down Memory Lane. Nathan was a great host. He was friendly and answered questions quickly. The kitchen appliances could use some updating (no dishwasher/old stove) but since the house was built in 1905, it's hard to complain! Overall, a great place.
