A bit outdated but very hospitable and comfy...
I needed to change my reservation a day early. And hotels.com helped call the hotel and was able to change it. When we arrived, Janelle was so nice and pleasant. She made sure we were good with being on the second floor. The hotel is a bit outdated especially the rooms, but it was comfortable. The fridge worked well. The shower/bathroom was fine. Free breakfast was good. Overall, we had a good night and stay.

The manager was wonderful. She was friendly, welcoming and very helpful in finding places to eat. The room was ok. The sofa was worn, the window opened to let in fresh air, but had no screen..it did have a lock that allowed it to open no more then 6 inches..for safety purposes. There was no safe in the room, but one at the front desk. The bathroom sink had a steady water drip which I mentioned to the front office. The tub was in poor condition with chips on the side, the towels were very thin. The housekeeper did a nice job with the room. The king size mattress was comfortable.. Lighting as in most hotel rooms was terrible. Hard to understand why this is so, with inexpensive LED lighting available. The room served the purpose for our 2 day stay.

All was okay except the tv channel selection. I wanted to catch some Olympic coverage and there was only 2 channels, instead of the 5 I am used to. Also, my room card/key kept dying. I had to get it redone 2x. What happens if that happens after hours?

The first room we had smelled like smoke. We were able to change rooms easily. There were roaches in the room we switched to. The bathroom was falling apart. Over all the property itself was what you would expect for the price. We didn’t really have a complaint other than the obvious things I have stated.
