Secluded cabin in Cascade with 360° views. Wildlife, Hiking, and Fishing

My cabin has breathtaking 360° vistas of Ute Pass, Rampart Range, Hurricane Canyon, and Mount Manitou. Guests can take a leisurely stroll down to French Creek to fish or explore the back roads leading to Manitou Springs, The Incline, and Pikes Peak. Despite feeling secluded in the middle of nowhere, downtown Colorado Springs is just a short drive away. Accessing the property usually requires a 4WD SUV or equivalent, as the steep one-mile dirt road may be challenging for vehicles with low ground clearance. You will have access to the main cabin (building on the left/south in the main picture), the garage and floor above are not occupied and are used for owner storage. A Peloton is available for guest use.

Secluded Cabin
This cabin was perfect. We wanted a cabin in the woods and that’s exactly what we got. The drive up is as described, about a mile of off road terrain. We saw turkeys, foxes , deer ect. Manitou springs is a short drive and it’s absolutely adorable. 10/10 would recommend.

We were slightly disappointed in the cleaning when we first arrived as the downstairs bathroom had not been swept, toilet, sink and mirror had not been cleaned and 1 of our towels had some stains. The first night we had no hot water. The owner immediately responded when I texted even though it was 11pm and came down right away to fix - that was amazing and very much appreciated! The cabin is very nice but could use some improvements and upgrades. Most of the outside furniture was broken, which stinks since outside is the best part! The experience of the cabin with the gorgeous mountain views made it all worth it though! We enjoyed so much sitting outside in the mornings and evenings!! The wrap around porch is amazing and we loved moving the couple of chairs we did have around to soak it all in. The location is perfect since it is in a beautiful spot and very close to everything we wanted to do. Another quick note is that the road to get to the property, 100% requires a 4-wheel drive vehicle and was very rough in some parts. And the gate is very cumbersome and inconvenient. Overall – Lovely Spot!

The cabin is extremely remote just like we wanted. A large buck and doe were our only guest. Be sure you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle for the trip. I will be back soon.

Had a nice brief stay for one night. Very fun to be secluded and off the beaten path. There were lots seasonal flies as the weather turned cold--both dead and buzzing. Still a nice stay in a mountain cabin feel.

Unmatched Location
The location of the property is unparalleled. It is completely by itself with great views all around. We spent most of our time outside, it was perfect. The inside was kind of outdated and making meals at the house left something to be desired. The owner also messaged us about using the A/C too much. All in all, we would definitely stay there again. The setting and location of the cabin is what made the trip!

Our family loved this home and location. The views were breathtaking! The kids had fun having their own area downstairs including a tv room. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, relaxing in the hammock, and taking in the views. We were also able to go on hikes right at the house. The property felt very secluded and private, yet not far at all from town. If in this area again we would definitely stay here!

Privacy and turkeys
This property is a great place to stay in Colorado Springs. Location is private…the only things to disturb our privacy was the turkey and deer. You do need an SUV to get up there comfortably, it is worth it. Views and the wrap around deck are great sunsets and sunrises and everything in between. Close to everything and well-equipped make this the perfect place to stay. Great communication from the owner as well.

Off track getaway
We had an amazing time staying here. Nills was great and the place is just as described. No one around at all. We woke up to turkeys in the yard every day, mule deer and even found some black bear tracks. My daughter had a blast exploring. We’ll definitely be back.
