Poor communication, almost locked out for entire stay
No communication was received for the day of check-in. I had to reach out for the door code/wifi password etc. Owner responded within reasonable time before we arrived and responded about questions regarding parking and dog waste left behind by previous renter (or cleaner). We dropped off our things and went out for dinner— upon return we could not regain entry to the house as the digital keypad would not work. I sent 3 messages explaining our predicament that went unanswered for the rest of our stay and following our stay. Lucky for us someone had left the back door open (not us). While trying to find a way in we also found that there are a couple windows on the first floor that do not lock— be aware for your own safety. Had we not found that door open we would have been left without our personal items and had no where to stay. This hindered the rest of our weekend still unable to use the keypad and no further communication or apology from the owner.
