Stay was decent. Room seemed clean and breakfast was decent. We paid a little bit extra for a high floor, however, when we checked in we were put on the 3rd floor of the 6 story building. Didn’t seem like a high floor to me but I am not a confrontational person and didn’t want to make a big deal out of it and decided I would ask about it when we checked out. When we checked out, I asked what was considered a high floor and the employee stated floor 4 and above. When I told them that we paid a bit extra for a high floor and that we were put on floor 3 they proceeded to state that they were sold out last night. I informed them that we booked a couple of weeks ago and their response did not make a lot of sense as it was something about having to move people around due to being fully booked? Anyway, there was no offer of reimbursement for the extra that we paid. So basically they advertised a higher floor, didn’t follow through on that promise and then got to keep the few extra dollars we paid. I would not have booked for a higher floor had I known it was not guaranteed. I know it’s only a few dollars more but in this economy? I’m not paying extra if I’m not getting that extra.

Second time staying here for marathon weekend. Location is convenient with a short drive to downtown. It’s quiet and peaceful. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel accommodated an earlier breakfast for those who were needing an early start to the day with racing.

Property was great. Walking distance to some restaurants, parking was free and there’s always spots. The shuttle took us to Nationwide arena for a hockey game and picked us up after and was a huge benefit. Bathroom was a little outdated & small. Sink was slow to drain which was a little gross but everything about the room was clean. We would definitely come back again ☺️

I would definitely book this hotel again. The customer service at check in was great! I also love the bed it was comfortable. The walls are not thin it was quiet in the room. The breakfast was pretty good. If you’re an OSU fan there’s bars right next to the hotel that you can check out.
