Charming 3 bedroom 2 bath farmhouse located 1 mile outside Comfort, TX and only 20 minutes from the wine country of Fredericksburg, TX. Located on the 112 year old Historic Biermann Ranch and completely updated in 2020 from top to bottom, take in the cows in the pasture and towering oak trees that shade the home. The freestanding soaking tub in the master bedroom along with the marble floors, countertop and tile throughout make for a relaxing place to unwind from city life and enjoy true Texas Hill Country living. The pool table is great for family fun while being steps away from the open kitchen great for meals with the family at the table or bar. 2 bedrooms have a queen bed and 1 bedroom is fit with a king bed and daybed with trundle perfect for the little ones. Fully fenced in with over an acre of space, the backyard is perfect for throwing corn hole, bbq'ing, and enjoying the fire pit with s'mores. Texas Hospitality
Spacious, private, and relaxing surroundings inside and out, especially for our large family gathering. While relaxing on the back porch, we had a few deer and armadillo visitors! It has modern appliances and many entertainment options. Sarah is great and also sprinkles around creature comforts such as snacks and toiletries that you forgot to bring. We stayed three nights and have no complaints at all and will certainly visit again.

Perfect Location
This is the perfect property for staying in the Hill Country. It is just a few minutes form Comfort, 20 minutes from Kerrville and 30 minutes from Fredericksburg. It is also just a short beautiful drive to Alamo Springs Cafe, one of our favorite Hill Country restaurants!

Das Biermann house
We loved the house. It is a great layout! There was cornhole to play outside and the pool table inside, we never turned on a TV! We did not spend much time there during the day, played in the Guadalupe river most of the time. We ate at High's store which was delicious and Fajita Street which was great too. I did not antique shop but others in my party did and loved it. We will be back next time the family descends on Comfort!

Awesome house!
We enjoyed our stay at Das Bierman Haus very much. The house is charming and very spacious. Sarah provided everything we could possibly need plus snacks and bottled water in the refrigerator. She responded immediately to our concerns about water pressure in the kitchen and guest bathroom, explaining the situation. In spite of this minor inconvenience, we had a great time. Comfort is a charming town with friendly people, good places to eat, unique shops, wineries nearby, and beautiful hill country roads.

Just the ticket
This was our home base after the total eclipse experience. I never miss a chance to get back to TX and I wanted to revisit the hill country along with sharing that part of the country with my husband. The interior of the house looked just like the pictures on VRBO. The house was so comfortable and CLEAN. She even leaves items in the bathroom that you might forget. The kitchen has everything you would need including condiments and storage bags. It was a quiet setting in the country and at the same time a great location to take day trips to many places. Would highly recommend this home. Thank you for helping make our vacation a delight.

We stayed at this beautiful property over our friends wedding weekend. The house was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and had everything we could need - even a great soaking tub. The back porch/yard is a great space to wind down. The property is minutes from town, and the hosts are super sweet and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again. What a gem!

Quiet New Year’s Getaway 2024 🎉
My family and I enjoyed a welcoming home with thoughtful touches such as a beautiful guestbook, a fully functional and ample kitchen, as well as cozy spots to kick back and relax. My kids played billiards, board games, and soccer. We gathered around the fire pit and spent time in the fairly lit back yard. It was a lovely place to celebrate the new year.

Absolutely beautiful home, exactly as described. Came for my nephew’s wedding in Comfort. Excellent place to hangout and visit at the end of the day’s festivities. This was hands down one of the best VRBO’s I have stayed at. My mom and I were greeted with the warmest welcome. You walk into this house and immediately feel warm and cozy. I LOVE all the special touches the owners have put inside the house. The special touches ranged from a specialized card, to snacks, to goodie basket in the bathrooms, and water in the fridge. This house has it all. OH!!!! And the bathtub in the master is so AWESOME. I woke up every morning to deer in the front/ backyard.You can just sit in bed and watch the deer graze and wonder off. The owners are SO sweet and very prompt. Thank you for letting us stay in your home. We will definitely be back.

Another great stay at Das Biermann
This is a wonderful home nestled in the country, just minutes from Comfort. This is our second time to stay at Das Biermann and hope to visit the area again next year. We enjoyed cooking and found the kitchen to be well equipped for most any menu. Relaxing by the fire pit at night was an excellent way to end the day after hiking Lost Maples state Park. Hope to visit again soon. Hats off to the Biermann family.

Great stay
A group of friends and I stayed for just one night and wished we had booked for the entire weekend. Sarah's place was incredibly comfortable, the check in was easy, and the property was beautiful. We were impressed with the attention to detail and the variety of kitchen utensils and bathroom necessities. Overall, this was a great experience and we'll definitely be back.
