Great Location but Renter Beware
First let me say the the location of this home is in a beautiful, quiet, remote location. Jami the owner was responsive to requests. On the downside: - The "cabin is fully stocked" does not include soap, shampoo, or laundry supplies. - The refrigerator in the kitchen is not full sized and is not shown in the pictures so you cannot bring too many cold items. - The skillets in the kitchen are in very poor condition. - The kayak launch at the house is a very steep, eroded area with numerous tree roots. It is unsafe. - This house makes the most noise of any we have ever stayed in. Each step up the stairs and accross upstairs is extremely noisy and will wake others if they are sleeping.

Girls weekend
We loved the cabin, we just wished it wouldnā€™t have been so rainy. The driveway was washed out in places so the last night we loaded the vehicles and drove them up by the rode, as we were afraid we might get stuck the next morning. We were glad we did, it rained most of the night. We had to carry the rest of our luggage to our vehicles in the pouring rain about a half mile. It was worth it great place and we loved our stay. We will be back.

We loved this little hideaway. The kids and husband fished. The boys kayaked and built a fire in fire pit. We loved it . The kitchen was small so if we go back I will probably pre -cook some things. Caseroles for breakfast and such.

Lovely time in the cabin. Galley kitchen is small but workable. River was not flowing much due to lack of rain and not tempting to Kayak in but that was Mother Natures fault!

Stay
Other than running out of gas and not being able to use stove was great. Could of showed more concern as were in the middle of cooking and was not something you could finish on grill or in microwave as suggested.

Peaceful Retreat!
Beautiful rustic cabin that was exceptionally clean. It was clear the host went above and beyond to make the cabin comfortable and cozy and bug-free (hard to do in the middle of river country - but Jami managed to do it). We fished and caught several bass right from the dock, had coffee on the porch and a glass of wine on the swing overlooking the river. We made friends with the neighbor dog Brodie - who we grew to love before our stay ended. This place was good for our soul, everyone should come visit - it's magical.

Quirky Cabin
The main roads leading to the cabin are very rough. This is a very quirky cabin. Yes, it is old-you can hear everything inside and see light through the boards. The indoor temperatures are not even-heat rises to the loft making it very hot and the primary bedroom does not have a heating unit-you have to leave the door open; the living area does stay warm. It is not as secluded as we imagined; you can see cabins on either side. The first night we stayed, the guests in the cabin closer to us were very loud and making some type of explosive sounds-did not sound like a gun-late at night. The stay was okay-I really was not as impressed as I imagined. I kept comparing to our other stays. This one did not have a well stocked kitchen, most of the pans were very scratched and worn, along with the mugs. There is not charcoal provided like all the other places we have stayed. The tv sound bar has an annoying static sound in the background and on a couple of occasions the tv sound was off (not on mute) and you could only hear the static sound. I had to leave off for a bit and turn back on a few times so that it could go back to normal. Other than a few cons, we did enjoy our time. The outside was very well laid out and lit-the kids had fun. I was disappointed with this cabin in comparison to others that we have stayed that have been very well stocked and maintained.

FIVE STAR!
There is so much to say about this cabin! It was exactly as advertised. It was absolutely beautiful, peaceful and quite. If you enjoy reading bring a book along there are two hammocks right at the rivers edge that makes a wonderful place to kick back, read, and relax the everyday tension away. Jamie has several awesome settings for photos!!! Needless to say we took our share of photos. It is a true old cabin, the wooden floors what can i say it was nice walking around barefoot on theses old floors. As I walked around I thought of all the history within the walls of this cabin. I have ABSOLUTLY nothing negative to say welllll one thing lol...it does need a little lighting on the backside of the cabin. If you choose to this piece of paradise you will not be disappointed. We will be going back November 2023! One last thing I would like to thank Jamie for sharing her cabin And thank you to "H" for jumping in and getting the cabin ready for us!!! Girl you are AWESOME!

Really Nice Location
This is a great spot. The cabin is right on the river and it is quiet, fantastic views, and as laid back as you can get. It was just my wife and I and we enjoyed the absolute relaxation that came with staying there. I would guess that kids would have a great time also since there were several things that would entertain them like a little raised fort, swings and the fishing dock. We had a really lovable local dog come by everyday wanting to play ball or chase a stick. I think he was from a cabin up river a little ways. The property is about 300-400 feet wide at the river with about 6-7 other cabins along the same stretch of river. We never saw other people even though you could see a couple of cabins from the back yard. I would guess the original cabin was built 75 years ago or so based on the type of rock work done, but it is well updated and quite sufficient. The kitchen is a small single wall affair but well equipped and stocked with everything you need. They do provide a pod coffee maker, but bring your own pods if you want regular coffee, not decaffeinated. There is one and one-half baths, both downstairs so anyone staying upstairs in the open loft has to come down. Not really a problem if you are reasonably young. The shower is really good (an important factor in my mind). Cell service (Verizon) and Wi-Fi are reasonably good - had no significant problems with either. There is a water softener and the quality of the water is very good. I have no negatives to report. We will plan to go back. If you want quite, relaxing, private space on the river then go.

Very relaxing.
Love the property. Can gather wood with the kids to have a fire or smoke for the grill. Ease of fishing was 5 stars. The one thing that I almost got hung up with was the turning around of our trailer. We have a roughly 16-20 foot enclosed trailer that almost got stuck when we drove in around dusk and turning around at the bottom of the hill was very iffy, but we got through it. Next time I believe parking it up on top of the hill, or turning around and then backing back down the hill, right before the cabin would be a better idea.
