Came here for a few day getaway. We wanted to try something new. First appearance- it was clean. The self parking is around the corner and quite limited. Otherwise its 35$ a day for them to park your car. Check in was easy and quick. As we went to our room, our floor was being repainted. All you could smell was paint fumes. It gave me a headache so we had to immediately go outside. On to the pools. Lazy river is quite long. Only one tube can fit. Its slim. It was heated. There is a small kids area-which was cold. They have a huge slide but it was closed so we couldnt use it. The hot tub was quite hot. The bar was closed on this side. We went to the other side where theres an upper and lower pool. Neither are heated. The lower connects to a bar. There were so many mosquitos. We played some ping pong. Theres a bar over looking the lake. That was nice but the mosquitos were dreadful. They light the 2 fire pits at night even if you want to hang out there or do smores. You can rent a paddle boat. They have putt putt and a volleyball area. We were at the end of the hall so it was quiet for us. I give it 3 stars as its nothing nice but its not bad. Good for a weekend getaway but id call ahead to see if the slides and kid area is open before you go if you plan on taking the kids

It was a great weekend getaway! Quiet and great ambiance, however, the food was too overpriced for it to be regular bar food. Wish they can have a Mexican restaurant or better quality food for the price! However, overall everything else was great! I would go back.

We found a roach and ants in our first room. They initially offered us bug spray but then moved us. The next room had never been cleaned from previous guests. The bed wasn't made up, trash was in the room, the table was overturned. The third room was nice. We ordered food at a restaurant and then others came in, ordered, ate and left before we got our order. Ours was as cold as if it had been in the refrigerator- not sure if the wings weren't cooked through or if it was cold sauce they put on them. Hallways had the same trash in them for days. Never once saw housekeeping anywhere around.

I enjoyed the adult section of the property. The pool was very relaxing, having lounge chairs with umbrella was much appreciated. Food was good with a variety of selection. I would say the lazy river was relaxing and fun but the kids horseplay was a small take away. However i understand they are kids and want to have fun so I can’t complain about that. I do wish the lighting at night was better. Overall for a nice chill fun in the sun 10/10 recommend

Please make sure the restaurant is properly staffed! We had to wait an hour to get our food. Plus it took longer to get drinks - never got our water refilled etc. then came trying to get our check. My son chased down our waiter to get it. The hotel is gorgeous but I believe the room should have at least one dresser and a chair. We had a double suite and it seemed more like a Motel 6 with just one nightstand. We waited for 45 minutes to get an elevator and ended up walking down 13 flights. I guess only two were working on a holiday weekend??

Stay away from License to Chill
Love the resort, but service was awful. Parking lots were full, pools were crowded, and service at restaurants was terrible. We reserved a table at License to Chill for my 50th birthday for 25 people. They said no problem when we booked it. When we got there, the table was set for 18 people. The staff would not fix it at all. They were at a complete loss. My family finally started pulling tables together to make it work. There were hardly any other people eating in the restaurant that night. Food was sub par and overpriced. We did love our lakeside cottage though.
