This place is located right along Strøget, the world-famous shopping street.

This is an excellent choice for groups and large families traveling together. You will have a spacious common area, a full kitchen and 3 bedrooms at your disposal in a vibrant part of Copenhagen’s shopping district.

This is an excellent choice for groups and large families traveling together. You will have a spacious common area, a full kitchen and 3 bedrooms at your disposal in a vibrant part of Copenhagen’s shopping district.

A tour of the place
The apartment is on the second floor of a historic walk-up building that dates back more than 200 years. When opening the front door to the apartment you enter into a small hallway. On your left are a separate toilet and a newly-built bathroom with fresh towels, a hairdryer and hand soap.

Straight ahead is a small but cozy bedroom perfect for children with bunkbeds. To your right is a wardrobe area, which also connects to a large, bright living room.

The living room has large windows and plenty of daylight. Here, you have a nice big sofa, a flatscreen TV and a dining table for 8. The separate kitchen comes with a large refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave and all the cooking essentials you need for preparing a meal.

Through the second hallway are the three main bedrooms, also with lots of daylight. One bedroom has a kingsize(180x200cm) bed, one a queensize bed (160x200cm) and the third bedroom has two singles.

The building has the highest eco-certification (A15) and we avoid any single use plastics.

The Neighborhood:
This is as central as it gets. Yet you are still in the charming, historic part of downtown Copenhagen.

Catch a boat tour from the nearby canal. Discover excellent shopping from high street to luxury and local independent brands. Dine and drink at the countless cafés and restaurants that are just everywhere in this neighborhood.

Getting Around:
The metro Gammel Strand is around the corner.

Stairs to the apartment on second floor are narrow.

Great stay

My family enjoyed our stay in Copenhagen. The property's location was an added bonus. We didn't have to go far for shopping, restaurants and touring.

Great location, responsive hosts

This apartment is in a great location, within easy walking distance of the canal, lots of sights, and the Metro. The entrance at street level is a little unusual, and there are quite a number of stairs, but the apartment itself is very nice. We discovered a couple of small issues upon arrival, but the hosts were super-responsive, always communicated quickly and clearly, and sent someone over to fix the issues promptly. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Location great, but property run down

Location is great, right downtown. But the location also means lot of party noise from the street until morning. The property is run down and needs re-doing. The entry is truly filthy (seems to to be some garbage bin storage and general trash storage for the whole building) and the stairway is truly filthy as well. There was only one set of keys, we asked for the second set, we received a prompt replay that it would be corrected but then never heard again from the owner.
