Glacier Cabin: 2 Bedroom 3 Bed Rustic Cabin on WMH

This cabin is located on an AUTHENTIC and active Homestead. Self check-in at this two bedroom cabin using hand crafted lumber, built and harvested by the Pioneers of Wrangell Mountain Homestead. Rough around the edges this cabin has hot running water, and electricity, this hidden gem of Alaskan history is a great resting spot before you carry on your adventure to Wrangell St Elias National Park, Chitina for fishing, Kennecott near McCarthy for exploration, or Valdez for the stunning views. Although rough around the edges this quaint, cute, and serene cabin is private and comfortable. Offering everything you need, a home away from home! Aesthetic damage is visible in the downstairs tub and sink, Glacier cabin is a work in progress and our price reflects this! Our improvement over time is your great deal. We ask that you treat the cabin and the space as if it was your own. Please contact me via Airbnb or the cellphone provided for any questions or concerns. Located on 320 acres of private Homestead, Glacier Cabin has it's own parking space, front and back yard, and other private cabins on either side of it. You can bike, walk, run, and pace on the trails available. But please no motorized vehicles. A fine will be charged of upwards of $500 for motorized vehicles on trails. For vehicles please stick to the dirt roads. The stove takes a moment for the pilot light to trigger, so don't be concerned if it takes longer than normal!

A neat cabin in the woods
We stayed in this cabin for two nights. It is surrounded by woods, and there are number of cabins available. The cabins are older cabins that have been wonderfully renovated. It is very convenient to visiting Saint Elias- Rangel National Park.

Gorgeous rustic cabin
The house is extremely spacious and beautiful. We enjoyed eating and playing a game at the table next to the bay window. The towels were luxurious. Ellyn was very welcoming and brought us extra comforters for the beds. Plus came with more propane for the hot water heater and brought a cutting board. The shower is great. Walking on the dirt roads in the homestead we had spectacular views of the Wrangell Mountains. Very close by there are three hiking trails along the highway which we enjoyed.

Property was clean and neat but rustic. It is on a working homestead which was interesting. It was very peaceful and quiet. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Nice cabin and property
This cabin was exactly as expected. Nothing fancy but absolutely perfect for what we needed - it was clean and stocked with everything we needed. We didn't spend much time here but it was an ideal location to stay before and after our one-day trip to McCarthy/Kennecott (Wrangell/St.Elias National Park). The property was beautiful and we enjoyed our morning walks looking at the working homestead and animals.
