In the shadows of the Ancient Corinthian fortress mount and in between grape yards, cypress, orange and lemon trees, this exclusive Villa offers stunning views of the surrounding Peloponnese rural landscape, a small and tasteful bio fruit and vegetable produce cultivated in the land next to the Villa, a 12 meter pool to cool of during the hot summer days, a fireplace for winter days, a generous front and a back yard (situated in a 2ooo m2 plot) with patios, built-in BBQ, that can all guarantee quiet long family evenings all year long.

It is situated 1 hour from the International El Venizelos Athens airport and in proximity to the busy town of Corinth and the beaches (15 minute drive). As day excursions one can visit the Temple of Apollo, the Archeological museum of Corinth, AcroCorinthos, while the world known ancient Theater of Epidavros is about 45 minute drive. The possibilities are numerous and easily accessible from the Villa as a base point.

Lovely big house with fab swimming pool
We really enjoyed our stay at the house - we did have a few niggles and the property could certainly do with a bit of tlc. Hopefully over the winter the issues that need attention will be sorted.

George replied quickly to any messages, directions good as it would be easy to miss without help. It seemed like a family property so lots of bits and bobs, charcoal etc which we used and replaced. Some road noise from behind the pool wall but take a speaker and you probably wouldn’t hear it. Defo need a car. Even though the village isn’t far it would be a fair walk. The pool was fabulous. Nice and deep also very clean. Good Wi-Fi. Very relaxing holiday thank you.

Superb!!
We arrived end September and while the weather was getting slightly colder we have used the pool and the spacious garden often. The villa is quiet and remote sitting on a generous landscape and garden, the interior is clean and well equipped (large kitchen for family use, AC and fireplace, antique furniture). It is a great base for daily excursions around the Korinthen attractions and the beaches. We mostly enjoyed the evening BBQs and eating on the patio and our little one loved the nature... Thanks!

Great Vacation House
My family and I found the villa to be in a beautiful, quiet and remote location and surroundings… we fully enjoyed the place with the well equipped kitchen and rooms and the large pool. There is plenty of seating to relax in the garden taking advantage of a small bio farmland next to it. Totally recommend it!

NICE VILLA, SHAME ABOUT THE DUAL CARRIAGEWAY
We are a family of five, a couple with three teenagers, and we chose this villa for its rural charm, peaceful location and big pool. The pool is great – big, a lovely temperature and always very clean with no obvious sign of chemicals. The view of mountains from the pool is wonderful. There is very little space around the pool for hanging out but that is clear from the photos. However, what is not clear is that the villa OVERLOOKS A VERY BUSY AND VERY NOISY DUAL CARRIAGEWAY (THE A7). The A7 is screened by the yellow wall you can see in the photos but easily audible around the pool area and from the master bedroom (it woke me up early a couple of times). This should be prominently mentioned in the villa information as it’s really intrusive and we would not have booked the villa if we’d known about it. Other negatives include: the pool lights were not working so sadly we couldn’t swim in the late evenings; the master bed is only 4ft wide; the separate toilet was not working; I agree with a previous reviewer – there is way too much personal paraphernalia around the villa! Overall, the villa would benefit from some time and money spent on it because it feels a little unloved – the outside furniture is a bit broken and shabby, the bedlinens need replacing etc. These things didn’t bother us unduly but they do need looking at. To balance these negatives, there were many things we loved about this property, besides the pool: *The gardens and views are beautiful and it was a great pleasure to sit on the terrace with the smell of jasmine. *The villa is spacious and comfortable and the layout worked well for us – three bedrooms (basic) and a bathroom in one ‘wing’, separated off from the master bedroom so there was plenty of privacy. * The air con and wifi are fine, no problems. *The kitchen is big, very well-equipped (no microwave) and air conditioned, so it’s great to work in. We especially appreciated the large fridge-freezer with ice maker and water filter. *There are surprisingly few bugs for the rural setting, although they are big. The mosquitoes are a nuisance but that is to be expected. The blinds, shutters, screens etc are very efficient. *The villa is not spotlessly clean but I thought it was perfectly clean enough considering its setting and it feels homely. All in all, we did enjoy our stay and the villa has some very special qualities. Sadly, for us, the road noise was a big surprise and a big disappointment and means we would not return.

Großartig!
Wir waren für 16 Tage mit Hund im Haus. Und es war eine traumhafte Unterkunft. Super gelegen, viel Platz, für den Hund perfekt, für die Kinder und auch für uns Eltern perfekt! Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe, ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge, man ist schnell am Strand und wir sind viel einfach zu Hause geblieben, weil das Haus und der Garten mit Pool toll waren! Bei Fragen haben wir immer sofort Hilfe und Antworten bekommen - danke für die perfekte Zeit in Deinem Haus!!

Sooooo nice!
Very beautifully located and well-equipped villa. The pool is fantastic, all rooms are sensibly and stylishly furnished. The house has a large garden and is located away from the town between fruit and olive groves at the foot of the Acrocorinth. Solomos is easy to reach on foot and the town is well connected to the road network. Athens, Sparta, Mystra, Mycenae and many other ancient sights can be reached in one to one and a half hours. Two different terraces allow for comfortable seating and eating, a pizza oven ensures sociable evenings. The care provided by the owner is uncomplicated and very reliable. We rented the house for a good two and a half weeks with four adults and a teenager and were absolutely delighted. We would gladly come back anytime!

Une maison familiale parfait pour partager !!
La maison est idéalement située au cœur du Péloponnèse pour découvrir la plupart des sites incontournables de la Grèce (2h30 Delphes, 1h10 Athènes, 30 minutes Micènes, 1 heures Mistra, 2h30 Olimpie...). La maison que nous avons trouvée est tout à fait conforme à l'annonce : Dans son jus, mais tout à fait adaptée à deux familles ou deux groupes d'amis avec des "quartiers" distinct et une superbe piscine pour partager de bons moments ensemble. C'est ni trop "classe" ni trop sommaire donc tout le monde peut y trouver son compte, petits comme grands, jeunes comme vieux ! Communication parfaite avec notre hôte, climatisation très appréciable...ainsi que le frigo américain et ses 30 litres de glaçons/ jour :-)) Seul petit bémol : l'autoroute est à côté et ceux qui sont sensibles au bruit pourront peut être tiquer...pour notre cas au bout de deux jours...c'était oublié ! We will come back

Villa bien équipée
Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans cette maison. Elle est conforme à l’annonce et très bien équipée avec une climatisation très utile l’été. L’emplacement proche de l’autoroute est très pratique pour l’accès aux sites archéologiques du Péloponnèse. Le propriétaire est très réactif et nous a donné toutes informations utiles. Merci.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus für Familien
Das Ferienhaus ist etwas Abseits des Ortskern gelegen und bietet sehr viel Platz drinnen und draußen. Gerade für Kinder also genug Raum zum spielen. Die letzten Meter Anfahrt sind etwas abenteuerlich aber problemlos zu bewältigen. Die Terasse, Garten und Pool sind sehr schön, fast alle Räume haben Klimaanlage, Küchausstattung ist vollumfänglich. Die Lage des Hauses gibt die Möglichkeit in kurzer Zeit zu verschiedene Stränden zu fahren, gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind im nahgelegenen Korinth und auch zu sonstige Ausflugsziele sind in der Nähe.

Kein Haus zum Wohlfühlen
Eigentlich wäre es eine schöne Villa mit einem tollen Garten: Größe, Abgeschiedenheit und Lage des Hauses sind sehr gut (von der nahen Autobahn weiß man ja nach einem kurzen Blick auf die Karte). Aber dem Haus (und leider auch dem Pool) mangelt es an Pflege, Sauberkeit und Instandhaltung. Es ist sehr abgewohnt, in vielen Teilen alt und/oder kaputt (Gartenmöbel, Bäder, Wohnzimmertisch, Matratzen, Stühle und ... und ... und) und nur sehr oberflächlich sauber. Zusätzlich ist das Haus voller privater Dinge des Vermieters oder seiner Familie (Fotos, Koffer, Rasierzeug, Kontoauszüge, ausgemistetes Computerzubehör etc.). In beinahe jeder Schublade/in jedem Fach findet sich ein Sammelsurium privater, alter Gegenstände. Auch der Pool war nicht gereinigt und am Boden voller Viehzeug (tote Hundertfüßer, Salamander, Würmer). Exklusiv ist bei diesem Objekt tatsächlich nur die Lage und der schöne Blick auf Akrokorinth. Positiv hervorzuheben ist die stets schnelle Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer, den wir allerdings nie persönlich gesehen haben, via E-Mail.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour
Outre l'accueil chaleureux de notre hôte la maison est très spacieuse, très bien équipée et d'une propreté irréprochable. Le jardin ravissant nous offre toutes les couleurs possibles de la nature, beaucoup de belles roses et petits arbustes tout autour de nous avec une superbe piscine. Le summum était le petit jus d'oranges fraiches que nous allions cueillir directement sur les arbres sur autorisation du propriétaire. Bref ce fut un séjour délicieux.

Maison très agréable au calme
Georges et sa famille ont été des hôtes très accueillant. Malgré notre arrivée tardive le premier soir ils ont pris le temps nécessaire pour nous donner des conseils pour notre séjour. La maison est située au calme et tout de même tres proche de Corinthe. Entièrement satisfait.
