The property needs a refresh showing it age. Neither restaurant menu was great and very limited staff after sitting in the lounge and only having the bartender serving a bus load of people we left.

Staff was very attentive, helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. We arrived late in the evening and were able to walk to restaurants. Gorgeous grounds for walking. A truly beautiful historical Inn.

It was great. Nice place, will come back. But while walking behind the hotel my foot went into a hole and twisted really bad. Still swelled 7 days later, i am at my doctors to have it checked right now.

When we arrived our tv wasn't working. The manager spent a few hours trying to correct the problem and made sure it was fixed the next morning. Had a meal at the "Wine Cellar" restaurant in the basement of the hotel. It was excellent. Great location, beautiful walking paths nearby. Would not hesitate to stay there again.
