We had a great time at this resort. It’s definitely 4 star rather than 5 star but we would still recommend it. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The rooms were clean and beautifully presented. The breakfast buffet was ok, not great. There’s only one restaurant option for lunch and dinner and the food was only ok. We chose to venture into town instead for dinner. Note there is no ‘spa’. I was expecting a wellness spa with massage, sauna etc facilities. There is an option to have a massage in your room. We didn’t do this. There are also some weights available for outdoor weight training. They advertised yoga every morning but it was on only the day we arrived. We took some of the tours offered (extra charge) and they were excellent- especially the island hopping and underground river tours.

Unfortunately, there are no accommodation in central Coron. This destination isn't what you'd call a tourist trap. With no lodging options in the centre of the neighbourhood, your best bet is to look at your alternatives a little further afield. Wotif lists 31 properties in the vicinity.
