We tried to check in early about an hour. The lady at the front desk asked if we were Hilton reward members. We said yes. She said great let me get your room. Then she couldn’t find our members number. I try giving it to her and she said you can’t use your Hilton Honors because you booked through Expedia. I explained that we have done it before. She said doesn’t matter because now your rooms not available anyway. So at first it was then all of a sudden not.
We stayed on the third floor. VERY noisy above us. Like all night!! Husbands a pretty heavy sleeper and it kept him up. Hard to believe it was another guest but who knows. The gentlemen that checked us in when we came back was extremely nice and immediately acknowledged our Hilton Honors. Frustrating that you use it to get points and perks and then when it’s time to get those things you can’t. Room was clean and nice breakfast.
