Sparrow's Nest is conveniently located near Highway 32 on Chestnut Mountain, in Cosby Tennessee. Sparrow's Nets is only a five-minute drive to the Cosby entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.






Sparrow's Nest features a master bedroom with a New Pillow-top mattress king size bed and full bath. A sleeper sofa is also available for extra guests. Sparrow's nest has a fully stocked kitchen, a wood-burning fireplace, hot tub, washer & dryer, flat-screen TV with satellite & DVD player, and charcoal grill. n response to our guests suggestions we have remodeled the bathroom. It now has a new 4 feet shower stall along with a new vanity,floor and wall finish. Also the kitchen now has new countertops and sink.


Guests will also enjoy the expansive porch with hot tub that offers breath-taking, unobstructed views of the Smoky Mountains. Please note that if you have a dog, the pet fee is 25.00 per night for one and 50.00 per night for two.

4 night stay in Cisby
Written directions was perfect made it to the cabin with no problem. I asked about the difficulty of the stairs, and was told it was moderately difficult, but there is a hand rail and they are well lit, what we was not told was the handrail is covered with black and green mold. The stove was dirty and my wife refused to cook on it. Very dusty and not very clean overall.

First I will say the cabin is tidy and quiet, a peaceful view, and clean space. I will say that there should be much more detail about this property then there was in the description. This cabin is VERY secluded. There is one cabin near by, the next closest thing would be what looks to be a homeless camp (van and tents). It is also not a very accessible road, it is all gravel, strictly one car max can fit on this road, each sides dropping down 20-40 feet. As soon as we checked in we immediately left due to feeling very uncomfortable. There is absolutely no telephone service or WiFi which the WiFi was noted in description. Maybe for some this is a great stay but personally for me and my partner it was not a good fit.

Cabin was beautiful. Location was perfect. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Though there were a group of trees slightly blocking the mountains, it was still an amazing sight to see.

The cabin was really clean and in a very secluded area which was nice! I was not able to figure out how to shut off the hot tub so it was on the whole time which really took away from the peacefulness when sitting outside which was a bit of a bummer! But I probably could have asked? I wish there were blinds in the bedroom to the large glass doors and window. Other than that the place was perfect!! Really cute vintage farm feel with handmade art.

Great Cabin in the woods
We had a blast at this cabin, we came to hike so this was my resting, relaxing and eating spot. The hot tub was the best part honestly for decompressing after hiking all day. The cabin was clean and comfortable with a fireplace, kitchen and a deck with rocking chairs. There are stairs down to the cabin that weren’t mentioned in the site info so be advised if you need ground level access. I’ll rent this cabin again when I come back to the smokiest!

The property was well manicured and was everything we were looking for in a rental. We stayed 3 nights with our small dog, Piper. The view of the mountains off the deck and in the hot tub were great! Property was nice but lots of steps to carry luggage & cooler down. I turned up the heat but never did get warm. Tried to start the fireplace but logs were too big without any kindling to go with it and I did not bring any. Hot tub was nice but it was a struggle for me to get the cover back on. Description said it had a grill but did not specify that it was charcoal and I did not bring any with me. Gas grill would be nice addition. Probably will not stay there again.

Beautiful thanksgiving getaway
We spent our 2023 Thanksgiving week at The Sparrows Nest. It was such a cozy cabin. The Cosby entrance to the Smokey mountain national park was just down the road. We cooked our Thanksgiving meal for 2 and then enjoyed unwinding in the hot tub at night! All the essentials we could need or want. We had a wonderful time and would stay again!

The stay was great. I took my girlfriend to a surprise last minute trip, and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The view and property were great and as expected. We took some time in Gatlinburg and outdoors, and some relaxing time at the end of the day in the hot tub. Highly recommend!

Great 40 yr anniversary vacation
From the newlyweds who stayed before our visit, to our 40 years of marriage…. Cute little cabin with awesome views and scenery! Sitting in front of fireplace in the evenings. Front porch coffee in the mornings, soaking in the fall colors. Not too far from parks and sites as well as the more touristy activities, but private and peaceful.

Quiet Cabin in the Smokeys
Great little quiet spot in the Smokeys. It felt far enough away from touristy Gatlinburg to feel authentic. But also close enough to everything that it didnt feel like a hassle getting anywhere. Would definitely recommend this place.
