❗ Your dome, though it may be full of glamorous amenities, is still very much an uninsulated tent that will be affected by the outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. Please prepare accordingly and check the local weather prior to arrival.

Booking this listing will guarantee your stay at RIDERS ON THE STORM, our Dome named after the last song recorded by all four members of the Doors and Jim Morrison's last recorded song of his lifetime. The lyrical content also served as the main concept of the 1986 film, "The Hitcher".

At 1,059 square feet, the dome is larger than the average sized apartment so there's plenty of room to spread out and get comfy! You can expect a full sized fridge, dishwasher, microwave, countertop burner, toaster and coffee maker. There's also a small dining table with seating and even an electric fireplace to help keep you warm during the colder season. Outside, you'll find more seating, a fire pit, hot tub, and charcoal grill.

Cosby is an area of the national park without huge crowds, where facilities are rarely full. That's why it's a favorite among locals and long-time visitors to the Smoky Mountains. The main draw for most people to the Cosby area is hiking and white water rafting.

GUEST REGISTRATION
Upon booking with us, simply register your stay within 48 hours to gain access to our guest portal where you'll find reservation and property details, access codes and other pertinent information. To complete registration, you will be asked for personal details and will upload your driver's license and a selfie (don't worry - it's super simple!).

And great news for you, we both have the same goal: for your stay to be nothing short of perfect. With that said, sometimes the unexpected happens. You are camping and these domes, are not much different than a tent.... well maybe little cooler, but that’s why you’re here! If anything comes up, we promise to spring into action faster than Taylor Swift after a break-up and do everything we can to resolve it… and then maybe write a hit album about it. I mean, we are from “Music City, USA”.

If you have any issues or are unhappy with your stay, be sure to call, text, or email us like a good friend so we can get your stay back to minty fresh. Please be mindful that there will be bugs, temperatures will be warm in the summer and cold in the winter so come prepared to camp and enjoy the great outdoors!

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS
The primary renter must be at least 21 years old. Exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis for guests aged 18-21 and requires Stay Minty’s express written permission and a paid security deposit of $500 to be collected separately.. Contact us for details prior to booking. 

**We do not accept bookings from guests within a 50 mile radius.
