A Beautiful Rural Retreat in the Countryside
We stayed only one night but wished it could’ve been longer. Great attention to little details and loved the owner’s artwork. Thoroughly enjoyed the lovely walk with our dog on the riverside trail behind the property.

Great Escape
This is a great property! Quiet, beautiful setting, easy access to both Courtney and Comox, right on the Royston Trail. We loved it! The bed was comfortable, the kitchen while small but had everything you need and the whole unit was very clean and tidy! And our dog Charlie loved it too. We would most definitely stay again!

Lovely, very relaxing stay!
The location is really perfect - I so enjoyed sitting with my coffee in the mornings looking out at the water :-) There are lots of places to sit outside, including two patio tables in different locations, and the flower gardens are quite lovely. The unit itself is very nice - Kate has stocked it well with all the essentials and some thoughtful little touches besides. It is comfortable and nicely decorated, and I particularly enjoyed the lovely shower and the well stocked kitchen. The bed and pillows were all very comfortable as well. Kate is a very considerate host, and I had just the best stay here!

A wonderful relaxing stay
Kate and her dog Cleo were very welcoming upon arrival and gave us a walk through of our suite. Kate had thought of all our possible needs to make our stay more comfortable. She even had white bathrobes hanging in the closet for our use. Kate is a great gardener with hydrangeas and roses blooming. It was a treat to relax in her garden as we sipped our beer and enjoyed looking out over the ocean. I highly recommend staying here.

Waterfront Getaway
Overall very good. We enjoyed the scenic walking path along the shoreline directly behind the property. Beautiful oceanfront views, and nice gardens throughout the property. Very peaceful retreat which is what we really needed. This is a suite below the owner who lives upstairs, so there is some noise transfer. Very well appointed suite with everything that you require. We would definitely be back again.

Lovely stay!
What a beautiful suite in a beautiful location! Kate's place was clean, spacious and had all of the items you need to stay in a home away from home. I love the little extras Kate thought of like shampoo and conditioner in the shower in case you forget your own, little packets of nuts, a lindor chocolate... the little things go a long way. Kate had great communication and we loved her dog, Cleo. She was very helpful with local recommendations. Thank you so much Kate, we would absolutely stay with you again and highly recommend your suite to others. Thank you so much!

Delightful stay in the Comox valley
We had a lovely stay in this newly refurbished basement studio. The bed and sofa bed were very comfortable and the home was well equipped. There were some lovely touches and the host, Kate, was very friendly and attentive. The garden was beautiful with lots of seating overlooking the estuary. There was access from the garden to the marine path with lots of info about the area and a short stroll to the Royston Town pub. Would highly recommend
