Lots of beach area. Our third trip. Food not as good as before. But the Taco house did not disappoint. Due to so many travelers, I would like to see the hotel encase pillows and all mattresses. This keeps the mattress clean and bug free (although we didn’t see any bed bugs- I checked). My hubby says they need a sports bar. Miquel, Alfonso, Ana and Diego are worthy of mention. Overall a good experience and worth staying there.

Property and staff were excellent. Food was good but got repetitive. Always ask concierge what you should pay for taxi service so you don’t get ripped off

The staff are amazing, always there to make your stay the best it can be. The hotel is old but is clean and taken care of. They clean the beach each morning, but the water is very murky, not the hotels fault but not pleasant to swim in, need to walk to the neighboring hotel's beach. We booked the Level and felt that it was well worth it.

Melia was amazing for our family vacation this fall. Just enough for the kids to be occupied and also have relaxing time for the adults. The food was 3.5/4 Star inn my opinion. My kids had trouble finding things but partial blame is on their tastes! The ocean and pool were incredible at Melia. So happy Expedia lead us to this gem of a resort.

We had an amazing time at Melia & it was exactly what we were hoping for! The weather was not on our side, so there were a few dining options on site that weren’t available, but the Fish House offered great options. The water was definitely brown & dirty due to the storms throughout the area & runoff from the mangroves, but completely out of everyone’s control. The room was beautiful & the bed was very comfortable. Everyone was so helpful, attentive, & so friendly! I can definitely see us going back to Melia in the future!

Food was not very good, drinks weren't great. We did all inclusive, yet fees were added for certain drinks & for room service. There was a Tropical Depression while we were there so the water was full of seaweed. THE STAFF WAS VERY NICE & HELPFUL!
