When we checked in our first room had a strong smell. There was an ozone generator on the counter. We weren’t sure what it was and did some research. We didn’t feel comfortable staying in that room so we asked to move. Front desk guy was friendly and switched us to another room. We stayed here last year and had an overall better experience last year. Our fridge froze all our food, there was a ticking from the ceiling we believe came from the fire/water spout which was annoying when trying to sleep. Also, the tv remote was not working well and there was no guide to see the stations. Another thing to keep in mind is they charge $30/night for parking and $35/night for our dog. This is not included on the Hotels.com price. I feel paying for the resort fee should cover the parking. Amenities close early, so it was hard to enjoy them after skiing. I think I will try the Grande Lodge next year. They don’t charge for parking and also allow dogs.

Amazing stay 5 stars all the way
We had an amazing stay at The Elevation Hotel and Spa. A total 5 Star experience. Check in was friendly, prompt and smooth. They generously gave us top floor facing the ski lifts! The room was great. Very roomy, nice little kitchenette with microwave, mini fridge, small kitchen sink and a full set of dishes. Cutting board, toaster too. Lots to do there in addition to skiing. The boys fly fished and the ladies went to the spa. Incredibly dog friendly. Just an ideal stay, want to come back for a whole week.

We have stayed here many times and will continue staying at The Elevation. The staff is top notch and the ski valet is incredibly convenient. There is no overhead lighting in the living or bedroom. It does leave it a bit dark. It is fine during the day with the curtains open, however. This might be the only negative for this spacious room.
