This hotel needs a good cleaning. After checking in we found a badly stained bathtub and a sink full of gnats/flies. We decided not to stay and they did refund our money. Moved to the Holiday Inn Express next door which was very clean and nice.

Housekeeping service performed the bare minimum, our bed was never made. Trash was not removed from our room. The sink and shower would not drain properly and it leave a disgusting smell. Not to mention the bugs we saw every night.

Our stay was an over night stay. This is our 2nd time. This time was much better. Much better on the cleanliness, on the low end the mattress was worn, the drainage to the shower was super slow.

They kept saying they didnā€™t have rooms but they did we questioned but the staff kept saying no rooms. The general manager would not speak to me about it at all. Told me Iā€™m on the do not rent to list. STILL donā€™t know why! The pool was nice but the room smelt and were dirty.

The property is outdated which is very deceptive through website pictures. The cleanliness is a different story. Our room was very dirty when we got there, it had coats of dust and garbage all around the furniture. It seems they vacuum only where you can walk but did not bother moving tables or chairs. The room had a very strong smell of humidity that was unbearable at times. The bathroom paint was pealing off due to the high level of humidity. There was also a garbage can outside of our room filled with garbage and pizza boxes on the floor. They did not pick up or empty it until the 3rd day we were there. Also, after our first night, we left bright and early and returned late in the evening around 5:30 pm. Our room hadnā€™t been cleaned. The cleaning lady banged on the door around 6 and when k told her not to worry about it and to come back the next day, she rolled her eyes and just walked away. After the second night she knocked on our door at 8:15 in the morning. Staff was not very nice. When we checked in. The person at checkin was rude. We needed to also ask questions because she was not thorough with her welcome information. She did not tell us how to get to our room, she didnā€™t tell us the restaurant hours of operation, didnā€™t provide swimming hours, didnā€™t provide us with WiFi password or anything. The only staff that was nice were the waiters and waitresses. The lady that cleaned the buffet area was very rude and breakfast was the same thing everyday.
