Visiting LMU-CVM student
We hiked up to Tri-State Peak and had a fun time just being together with family. Lots of time for board games and sitting around the fire pit enjoying s’mores. Only issue was with overflowing and overturned garbage can. Host responded quickly and trash was picked up off ground but can remained full from previous guests so we had to keep our trash inside.

Fairly nice place
We enjoyed the small town of Cumberland Gap. The house was nice. Full size mattress is uncomfortable but I have arthritis, so that added to my discomfort. The kitchen is huge!! Lots of room for our supplies we had w us. A kitchen footstool would be great as plates are really high for a short little me to reach. I would stay here again.

Charming house, quiet neighborhood
We enjoyed staying in the historic district of Cumberland Gap and walking to local hiking spots. The house is clean and well maintained, with plenty of kitchen supplies. The house is charming, a 1920s Craftsman style, with antique pieces mingled in with more comfortable modern furniture.

Great stay if you want quiet and rest
We loved this property because we appreciate old towns. We liked the slow pace but with great options for nearby great food. House is as described however IGA is in Harrogate about 5 min away by car and the Dollar store is 6 to 7 min away. The hosts respond within min to text or questions which was wonderful. We will visit this property again.

Peaceful and pleasant
Pros: I love the location. Had it not been raining, I could have walked from the house to anywhere downtown. It's very close to the arts center. The kitchen is well equipped for making and serving meals. The house is decorated tastefully. Cons: I could not text or call from the property even with wifi. I had to drive a short distance down the road to get a signal. The washing machine has long cycles even for a quick wash. The owner wants you to wash and dry all towels before departing. I recommend bringing your own towels to use for departure day because you likely won't have time to finish a load before checkout that morning. Overall, the stay was great!

The property was much more spacious than expected. A short five minute walk to anything we wanted to do in Cumberland gap and a short five minute drive to the graduation ceremony at LMU. We could not have asked for a better location or more peaceful setting.

We had a couple of small issues however the host provided excellent communication and I would have no issues with staying here again. The 2 bedroom house would be better suited for a traditional family of 2 adults with two kids. Since we had 4 grown adults in a 2br 1 ba I have no one but myself to blame for needing to wait in line to get a shower (haha). We loved sitting out on the front porch enjoying the quiet and peaceful sounds of nature. It’s an older home with an updated kitchen and bath. Overall we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The smell in the house was horrible. It was very musty. We could not stay in the house. The bed was also so noisy and uncomfortable that it could not be slept in. We did not stay in the house and had to find a hotel

cute place!
This is such a cute little place. Very clean. Easy communications with owner. I was there alone so it was a lot of space. I think it could be awkward to have other people there-the one bedroom has glass doors just off of the living area. Maybe some curtains to help with privacy? Bathroom is a little small. It was perfect for me. The location is fantastic. Easy walk to a couple of really good restaurants in Cumberland Gap, as well as the coffee shop and juice bar. Also walking distance to a couple of trails. It is also at the end of a dead end street-so no traffic at all. There is a really nice porch-I was disappointed to not be able to utilize it more but it was a really unusually cold week (so I was told)-it would be a perfect place for coffee or evening wind down time.

What a sweet little town!
Our son is a student at LMU, and we have stayed in the Inn nearby and some of the hotels in Middlesboro. We will definitely stay here again. My husband and I brought my parents and we loved hanging out on the front porch and walking to the town for coffee. Beds weren't super comfortable, but nice enough! Owner was very responsive.
