For foodies, the surrounding area has an abundance of award-winning restaurants, cafés and fish and chip shops, and foodie experiences for all to enjoy include the specialising of local seafood and field picked vegetables and fruit.
If you like a round of golf on holiday you couldn’t be in a better location with St Andrews, the home of golf, only 7 miles away, with its championship courses with magnificent sea views. In the surrounding area there is also a great choice of both links and parkland courses as well as a traditional hickory course. For a day out St Andrews has lots to offer, with miles of sandy beaches, historic buildings, museums, art galleries and excellent shopping. The spectacular Fife coast has an abundance of outdoor activities with the coastal path following the shore line to pretty fishing villages and secluded coves and some of the beast beaches in Scotland. The city of Dundee can be reached in 35 minutes and a visit to the water front and the Victoria and Albert Museum is a must, not forgetting the multi award-winning Discovery Point, where you can marvel at how Captain Scott and Ernest Shackleton made their epic journey.
