Overall the hotel was nice, needed a few upgrades, it did seem dated. During our stay there was some some kind of party/ reunion in the lobby. This lasted all day until 2 in the morning. The hotel staff did not do anything to keep the noise to a minimum.

The hotel was dated and dingy in all areas. The staff was very nice however the hotel could use a deep cleaning and updated furnishings and decor. From the bar to the rooms the showers, furniture, and fixtures all could use a replacement and updated interior.

My family of 5 and I had a layover in Dallas and needed somewhere to spend 8hours . I picked the hotel because it was close enough to DFW airport and It had a shuttle bus that goes to the airport. When I called the hotel to ask where I can get the shuttle bus. The man at the front desk said youā€™re at terminal C , Iā€™ll send over my driver. He then hung up before I could ask anything else. DFW airport is a big and somewhat confusing airport . Luckily the people at the airport were extremely nice and helpful . It took my family and I 1hour to find terminal C. The driver was fast and efficient . He did show up 25 minutes after calling the hotel and letting them know, we had made it to Terminal C. We arrive at the hotel and the man at the front desk was rude and made it evident he didnā€™t want to be there . It was late and all I wanted was to go to sleep after our long day at the airport. Honestly, the rude attendant was the least of my problems, Within five minutes of my family and I walking into our room. We saw a large cockroach How I wish I could up load the pictures of the cockroach that greeted us at our room door or of the garbage bag left on our balcony. By this point we decided to checkout after 3 hours and wait out the rest of our time at the airport. I will say this, the girl that was at the front desk when we checked out at 2:45 a.m was actually nice and polite.

Connecting flight was missed due to incoming flight running late. Had to get accommodations for the night last minute. Booked a room at Embassy Suites late in the evening. Called the hotel to request their free airport shuttle service and they were there to pick me up very quickly! Robert at the front desk was very helpful talking to me when I was looking for the shuttle pick up area. Check in was fast and smooth. My only complaint is that the bathroom is very small with no room to move around, door in the way. I would stay again if the need ever arose again. bathroomsmooth! Only thing I have to safe

Motel 6 is better
This is a Motel 6 impersonating an Embassy Suites. The rooms are old, dirty, stinky and hot. We were given 3 bath towels for 4 people and no washcloths. Front desk would not answer the phone after numerous calls from the room and my phone. I had to go down there. There was what we found out later feces on the floor. We initially picked it up and threw it in the sink unsure of what it was. Once it got wet we knew exactly what it was and likely why the room stank! (Picture). The pool had a loose light floating in it so we couldnā€™t swim which was the main reason I booked this hotel. The pool area smelled of sewage. My 8!year old granddaughter still enjoyed her birthday because I chose not to make a scene and made the best of it for her. Horrible experience especially for the price I paid.

This hotel is quite conveniently located from DFW and it has a nice restaurant for dining and a wonderful breakfast in the morning. It also has a free happy hour which was a nice perk. The staff was all very friendly, and we were happy that there was a shuttle to the airport. We have stayed here a couple times and will stay again in the future.

We arrived around midnight and were given a room that the a/c was not working properly. The young lady at the desk was wonderful! She moved us to another room, but, there were dirty towels on the floor and the patio door was open. So I went back to the desk and she was embarrassed. She left the desk to go check four other rooms we could be moved to and found one that was good. She was wonderful! Once we got in our room about 1:30 am, we began to shower and the tub was leaking under the tile in all the bathroom. My daughterā€™s shoes were ruined because they were soaking wet. The water wet the carpet all outside of the bathroom area. I did let management know the next day but no one really acted like they were concerned. They just wanted to move us again. We had my infant granddaughter with us and moving so many times was already horrible. We took shorter showers so the area wouldnā€™t get flooded. I can only imagine things will begin to mold and get really nasty, not to mention that the room below us will flood at some point. Needless to say, we will no longer stay at this Embassy Suites. The maintenance is obviously not kept up here. While waiting on the wonderful young lady assisting us the night we received, another person came up and was also talking about how they had been moved as well.

I like everything and only had one issue that that the headboard was scratched up. But other than that everything was very good. Breakfast was good, drinks at bar were good excellent and the swimming pool was available and clean for my grandkids to use. Overall property and service was excellent!!! Would definitely stay again!!!

The first room we got the bedroom was so hot. The air was set on 65 and it never got below 75. They moved us to another room a couple doors down and the air was a little better but not much. There was 1 plug in that worked in the whole suite. The bathroom tile was broken and just sat up against the wall. The bathtub drain was broken along with the tub being dirty. The ceiling in the bathroom was also brown and the door to something in the ceiling wasnā€™t even closed all the way. We did not receive a guest bag like everyone else.

Embassy of old ... room decor from the early-mid 80's, furniture at least 20 years old. Very poor lighting in the room, again reminiscent of the 1980's hotel, but nice enough, just old. No (absolutely none) USB outlets and we never could get the WiFi to work. Staff were "obligated" to help, but were not welcoming or overly accommodating with the exception of the omelet chef. She was very high energy and kind to the guests.

Disappointed at the lack of greeting when we arrived at 830pm. Felt like an inconvenience to the check in staff. They asked if I had my car with me, then said I had to pay $15/day to park even though I had a paid room for the night... Room had obvious, previous water damage in the bathroom. A/C was set to 65, but it was hot in the room and thermostat was not able to be changed. Very disappointed. (Had higher expectations.)
