The property is a motel about 10 ft. from the highway. The stairs outside smelled like urine. The bedding pillow cases and sheets were stained and yellowed. There was a huge gap under the door and the window could be pushed in with your hand without much effort. It was wholly unsafe for myself and my daughter. They have tried to spruce it up with paint, new floors, and furniture but its location can never be fixed. It is unfortunate because the front desk person was kind and lobby was nice but they would not return my money when I said we felt uncomfortable and only returned half our deposit. We had to go stay elsewhere so we lost over $225 plus a new hotel. We went to The Beeman just up the road for only $20 more for the night and had a great and safe place to rest our heads before my daughter’s spinal surgery consultation. I can’t suggest staying here if you are a woman because I believe fully it is not safe. This is not the property’s fault but its location. If it were a few blocks off the highway back with the newly revitalized restaurant area nearby it would be better but it’s still a motel with no barrier between you and who knows what lurking around the parking lot and highway.

Unhappy stay
Not so good for family with kids to stay in this place. When you need something, you have to walk outside and not safe for Everyone to walk during night time. I informed the front desk that the coffee maker is not working and the guy promised to fix it or replace thru maintenance person. But nothing was done. Me and my wife are coffee drinker and need it as soon as we get up. I have to walk outside like 5-10 minutes just to get coffee. The front desk said when we checked in that he had to get from my card a deposit of $75 and be returned after checked out. When I checked tonight my credit card, I was charged $322 for 2 nights stay including my deposit. My two nights was supposed to be $247. This is not a good place to stay coz the AC is so loud and my family were bothered by its noise.
