Insisted i put a credit card on file then refused to let me use it for a soda. I had a dog but didn’t realize ALL the dogs would be on the same second floor wing. This causes a lot of problems with dogs feeding off each others barking. Having to use the only elevator with strange dogs caused problems. First floor would solve a lot. Maids were ok. Breakfast was ok. Bed was hard.

I was not allowed to check in even though I paid for a room. I did not care if their policy is checking in at three. I was unable to make it there in time and did not have cellular coverage. Upon my arrival, the road man at the counter, made a huge deal out of it in front of all the other customers. Telling me it is their policy I expect a full refund.

So there’s nothing worse than your air conditioner going out on a Sunday night, in July, in Texas. Well maybe there are some things, but this is a pretty sucky situation. Add to it one wife recovering from surgery, and one elderly, diabetic dog and you’ve got a recipe for disaster. Last Sunday night, this was our household, but La Quinta in Wylie was there for us and our furry friends! We were able to get a king size accessible room at 10p on Sunday night for a very reasonable price, in a dog friendly room! The pet fee is reasonable, the room was spacious and clean for a pet friendly room. There were a few minor issues with the room such as the back of the remote control missing, the headboard was a bit worn, and the door to the room was open when we got there, but after that, the rest of the night was nice and cool, which was just what we were looking for. The breakfast in the morning had scrambled eggs and sausage links. There were grassy areas for our pets, and lots of pets on the premises. The staff was friendly and we were able to check out and return home to a working AC in the morning. This was our first stay at this La Quinta, but we will be back and will feel comfortable recommending to out of town guests in the future!

Our stay was for 2 nights beds were comfortable, everything was great. Our first room had no power in the electrical sockets, i called down to the front desk and thevyoung lady Diana attended to the situation asap, when they could not fix the problem we were moved to another room. DIANA took care of the situation. The breakfast was very good. Will stat again on my next trip. Thank you Diana for attending our problem.

LaQuinta Wylie TX is a DUMP!!
Place is a dump. Filthy floors, carpet. Check in screwed up. Waiting 30 minutes to get their mistake corrected for 2nd night. Breakfast was horrible. Go Nextdoor to the Holiday Inn Express. This place is a *%#+ hole. Don't waste your money.
