Quality Inn DFWP North was a decent basic hotel. Unfortunately Delta changed my flight after booked to one that arrived around 12:30am so I couldn't use the free airport transfer as it finished at that time. Not the hotel's fault by any means but be aware the taxi fare is just under $80 US before tip. Granted probably getting ripped off, and there were games like your credit card isn't working, and I don't have any change. So if you can book your flight to arrive for the free shuttle, even if it's slightly more expensive, you probably should. I used the free shuttle the next day to and from the airport as I caught the train ($4 day pass) to Fort Worth, the Stockyards and Grapeville. Great service, nice driver, hotel's own van (not one that goes to ten different hotels). Used it next day as well for Dallas train to and from airport.
The only things I didn't like was the aircon unit in room for some reason liked to pretend it was a plane making loud jet engine noises at random times. I have never experienced an airconditioner this loud before. Had free breakfast (appreciated) but it could have been a bit healthier (pictures of apples on wall, would have been nice to have them for example). But there's cereal, you can make fresh waffles, toast. Paper plates/bowls, plastic cutlery, juice in little cartons, environmental impact wise, that's pretty bad form Quality Inn. But I'd stay again if on a layover for DFW airport. Not many food options walk to near hotel.
