I usually stay here when we make a trip North to South and back. I feel very safe and comfortable while here. I am impressed with the way they keep the rooms clean and up to date and the outside has good lighting for safety.

Misleading reviews caused disappointment
I was advertised as remodeled but it was a mishmash of ratty older stuff and some blingy decor. It was FILTHY too. Dirty walls that hadn’t been cleaned in who knows when, light switches were gross, bed sheets looked unchanged.

Crappy Customer services!
We never made it there because when I booked the reservation I was going off of a recommation. Unfortunately it was not in the direction we were traveling home from a thanksgiving with my new grandson.. I called to try getting it cancelled. But was told if I didn’t show I would loss my $100. That’s pretty crappy for people traveling for the holiday. I felt there should have made an exception made!

The room was clean and the mattress comfortable. The breakfast and coffee was terrible. If you are looking for a clean comfortable room for a reasonable price it serves your purpose. Don't expect any extra amenities or a good breakfast.

An awful experience. No tv service employees who checked us in were not professional from arguing about a shorted paycheck in front of customers to showing unwanted to see body parts to not accommodating about no tv service. The most helpful person was the one who checked us out early

The hotel had bedbugs. Howard Johnson’s would not refund usnorwood hotels.com. Be careful who you book through. We have pictures of the bedbugs and neither one would refund the money. We had to move hotels, and we were out double the expense. So they are promoting bedbugs if you want to use them hotels.com or Howard Johnsons make sure you are aware you will have bedbugs and they don’t care.
