The apartment is located on the 1st floor. All rooms are facing the courtyard, large windows overlooking the stork's nest on the barn roof. Living room with open kitchen. The living room has a flat screen TV. The kitchen is equipped with various kitchen appliances. Bedroom with matrimonial beds. Both rooms have laminate flooring. Above the bedroom there is an open bedroom with 2 beds, 1 cupboard, 1 small table, 2 chairs and furnishing (10m²). The room can be accessed via a staircase from the bedroom. Shower / wc. Non smoking. Sitting area on a sunny terrace protected fenced by a green hedge. Parking available.

If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the beach promenade, then come to us in the very beautiful Achterland the sunny island of Usedom. Kachlin, which borders the Thurbruch area, offers some unspoilt nature. For hikers and cyclists there are plenty of things to discover and admire throughout the island. Fishing enthusiasts will find many dreamy reed-gulled bays on some small lakes. The white Baltic Sea beach is about 11 km. In the village there is a small playground.

Der Aufenthalt war gut das Storchennest war zwar nicht mehr bewohnt aber es kamen trotzdem ab und zu mal ein oder zwei Störche zu Besuch .

Storchenblick
Von der Lage her war es sehr gut. In Ahlbeck war man nach 10 Minuten und nach Polen ungefähr 15 Minuten. Man konnte auch sehr gut essen. Störche gab es auch aber erst in der Nacht wollte am Tag nicht gesehen werden. Wenn man keinen Putz...... hat geht es.

Vorab das Positive: Die Vermieterin ist total nett und hat uns jeden Morgen Brötchen gebracht. Das Dorf liegt schön abseits und man hat wirklich absolute Ruhe, kein Straßenlärm. Trotzdem ist die Anbindung in alle Richtungen total gut. Man wird morgens von Vogelgezwitscher und Hahnkrähen geweckt. Nun zum negativen: Leider war die Wohnung sehr enttäuschend. Auf der Couch sitzend spürte man jede Feder, Schimmel und Dreck im Bad. Überall war Staub und Flecken, unter dem Bett sammelten sich die Wollmäuse. Die Matratze war durchgelegen und für Allergiker ungeeignet. Bettwäsche weiste mehrere Flecken auf, auch wenn diese frisch gewaschen war. Die Küchengeräte waren teils kaputt und klebten vor altem Küchenfett. Die Wohnungen sind alle sehr schlecht isoliert, dass man alles von den Nebenmietern hört. Falls WLAN für jemand essentiell ist: Man kann zwar WLAN mitbenutzen, aber es hakte ganz schön, hing teilweise komplett. Streamingdienst lief mit einigen Unterbrechungen zwischendrin. Unterm Strich kann ich die Wohnungen leider nicht empfehlen.

Urlaub in Kachlin - Storchennest
Sehr gute Ferienwohnung mit einer super netten "Herbergsmutter". Sie war sehr kompetent , gab uns viele Tipps für unsere Ausflüge und jeden Morgen bekamen wir unsere Semmeln . Fazit unserer Tochter nächstes Jahr wieder - das werden wir auch tun. Ein großes Dankeschön für den angenehmen Aufenthalt .
