While the stay was Amazing, the place was so clean, the bed was beyond comfortable, and it was easy access off the interstate…..I was really in-impressed by the fact the employee that checked us in was on a phone call with a friend while we checked in and was not polite all. But honestly I would stay again in a second.

Beautiful facility, looks like it would be fantastic for a wedding or business conference. Well maintained, clean, helpful staff,. Dinner at in house restaurant, 1 hundred, was great. Crispy fries, cool music. Complimentary breakfast was well done and abundant.

Seems nice, but lackluster
The hotel seemed nice in the lobby and amenities. The front desk clerk left something to be desired for hospitality, though. To top it off, our room wasn't fully furnished for what was advertised. The bathroom was dirty and the tub had a wet towel in it. The beds were super uncomfortable, which made it hard to sleep. Not sure if we just got the short end of the stick on rooms, but I probably won't stay here again.

The towels were similar to using a hard loofah, seemed about as old as the property. It was clean but very outdated. The beds were horrible, noisy and lumpy and very uncomfortable. The check in was done with no emotion or interest from the staff. I asked for 1 regular envelope and was told they don't have any, when I said, you don't send any correspondence through the mail? The answer was simply "no." I wanted to put a soda on my room (the hotel took a credit card for incidentals) and was told I couldn't do that, i must pay in cash. I went to use the fitness room and the bike and treadmill did not work. i told the front desk with the response of "oh" the next day there was no change and there were no signs on the equipment for other users. Couldn't wait to leave this property, will never stay there again and would never recommend to others.

The property was fine. Our room had a sink that didn't drain, the stopper was closed and the lever did not operate it. I called the desk at 6:30 pm, they said they would send someone up to help. At 9:30 I called to say don't bother as we're going to bed. The next morning I spoke to the front desk and they had no record of any problem. The person checking out before me informed them of a loose toilet seat. Nice property, poorly maintained. Also our toilet flusher handle was broken. The hotel was at best half full on a Sunday night so an easy fix would have been to just move us but no attempt was made. We did get to brush our teeth in the shower, a new experience for sure.

Very dated and worn hotel. Ok for a road trip quick stay. It was rated a 8.4 and 8.0 but not at all accurate. It is easy off highway though. Dining room was closed when arrived at 7:15 pm and nothing close by as alternative. Person at front desk was great though.

Title: Disappointing Stay at The Best Western Steeplegate** **Review:** I recently stayed at The Steeplegate Hotel with my girlfriend, and our experience was largely negative. - The advertised hot tub was not functioning or maintained, which was a major letdown. - All gym equipment was broken, and the pool was freezing cold. - Our room's refrigerator didn't work, and customer service was unhelpful when we sought a resolution or refund. Given these issues, I wouldn't recommend this hotel, especially if you're expecting the amenities to be in good order. **Rating**: 1/10

Property was well kept and my room was very clean. Draw backs, the fridge in my room was not cold, there was no hair dryer in my room and the lighted mirror in the bath room did not work. Breakfast was good but there are no non-dairy options. The lady manning the breakfast area was super helpful and read labels to make sure i could eat the eggs. She also volunteered to mail my post cards for me.

We reserved a king size bed as we pulled into the parking. Two minutes later, when we checked in, the king bed was gone and we were offered a queen or two queens. We were surprised that the bed disappeared in a matter of minutes. The front desk was very rude and condescending about why we couldn't have the bed that we reserved and paid for minutes before entering the establishment. She was extremely rude. I would have canceled the reservation if it hadn't had been so late at night. We will not stay there again.

Once I checked into my room, I found that 1/2 of the privacy curtains in the window were missing. After talking with the front desk, they told me there was nothing they could do and there were no other rooms they could check me into and they were refused to refund my money so I can move to another hotel.
