Nestled at the corner of Salamander Trail and First Flurries, this spacious ski-in/ski-out vacation home at Timberline Mountain offers the perfect getaway for groups or families seeking both relaxation and adventure. With expansive glass windows throughout, the bright and airy living, dining, and kitchen areas provide stunning views of the surrounding slopes, while the gas fireplace adds a cozy touch after a day on the mountain. Step outside to unwind in the outdoor hot tub, or enjoy a friendly competition in the separate rec/family room featuring a pool table and TV.



The home is designed for comfort with multiple sleeping options across two levels. The main level features a master bedroom with a queen bed and en suite bathroom with a stand-up shower, along with two additional bedrooms, one with a queen bed and another with a set of bunk beds, sharing a hall bathroom with a stand-up shower. Fun at Almost Aspen
Had a great short weekend at Almost Aspen. Conveniently placed on the slopes.Pool table needs updated.Not adequately stocked with cleaning materials (trash bags, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent)Overall great stay if you are looking to stay in the Davis, WV area.Would definitely book our next family get together here!

The space itself was great, the experience around the space, less so. I emailed the property manager regarding the grill (the photos show gas but description says charcoal) and kitchen appliances, specifically a griddle. I was assured there was a charcoal grill, not a gas grill, and no griddle, so I purchased charcoal, lighter fluid, and a griddle for our needs. Of course I arrive and there is no charcoal grill but a gas grill, and a griddle. The wifi information was incorrect and the fix was to simply restart the router, with no details where to find that in a 6 bedroom home. The hot tub instructions said it was slow to heat up, and when we arrived on Friday it was off and the temperature was 66. It took overnight and into the morning (half of our stay) to heat to a reasonable temperature. The pictures showed a great pool table but in reality the pool table didn’t have all the balls, a rack, or any non-broken cues to play with. Then, at checkout, which was early at 10:30, we had to wash towels and dishes before leaving, meaning basically we had to be ready to leave around 9:30. We had high hopes for this place but the reality did not match what we expected.

Annual ski weekend!
This house had plenty of space for 12 people and the hot tub worked well. The best TVs could be updated but they were adequate for the weekend.
