Het Dijkje is a beautiful place in the lovely Maximapark, on the outskirts of Utrecht. Here, you can truly enjoy and find tranquility, yet be in the lively city center of Utrecht within 15 minutes.
With us, you can park for free and use our bicycles at no cost. You can store your own (electric) bicycle in the lockable bike shed. Our chickens, Alex and Kiwi, roam around in a friendly manner. You have a private terrace at the cottage, but you can also relax on the large terrace in the front garden. There is plenty to do and see in the vicinity, such as hiking in the beautiful Maximapark, visiting Castle de Haar 3 km away, cycling along the Vecht river, exploring the city center of Utrecht, and Amsterdam is only 25 kilometers away, with many nice restaurants nearby. Despite the hustle and bustle around you, you can completely unwind at Het Dijkje.
Our two cottages, Terra and Luna, have a private entrance and terrace, are fully furnished, and offer a beautiful view of the fruit trees. They are inspired by the nearby Castellum, a modern reconstruction of a Roman fort with archaeological treasures. And did you know that Het Dijkje is located on the Limes route, the ancient Roman border, which has been recognized as UNESCO World Heritage?
At Het Dijkje, we use solar panels on the roof to provide electricity for everything, including the air conditioner, dishwasher, refrigerator, and stove. Het Dijkje is entirely sustainable and gas-free. Upstairs, there is a spacious double box spring bed. Bed linen and towels are provided, and we will do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
