Welcome to the mountains!!! Get ready to RELAX! Stunning home wrap around porches with views and the amazing sound of Laurel Creek down below. Hikers paradise!

Ms. Bee Havin could easily host guests needing a more level entry. Main Floor one step, full bath with tub shower combo, bedroom with Queen (all linens provided) Living room, wood burning fireplace, dining room that sits 8. The kitchen is heavily stocked with everything you need to feed a large group including all your silverware, dishes, cutting boards, pots and pans, knives, cookie sheets, measuring cups and spoons, can opener, strainer, crock pot, blender, mixer, mixing bowls, casserole dishes, full size fridge with ice maker. Gas stove and dishwasher along with plenty of counterspace for all your cooking needs. Both a drip coffee maker and Keurig are provided. Propane grill.

Upper Level master with King bed in enclosed bedroom and new full Futon on loft area. Full bath with all new tiled shower. Wake up to the view of the mountains and your own private balcony! Lower level has closed off bedroom with barn doors, twin over full bunk beds. Full bath with step in shower, living room/TV area, foosball table and various board games etc. Efficiency kitchen in basement with small appliances and equipped with the basics.

House Amenities
Linens are provided along with one full roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one roll of paper towel in the kitchen. A small starter packet of laundry pods, dishwasher pods, hand soap, dish soap, sponge and some misc.

The Neighborhood - Powder Horn Mountain - Deep Gap, NC
Renters have access to the outdoor community pool during the summer months as well as miles of hiking trails, community clubhouse, fitness center, tennis court, campground, horseshoe pit, fishing, paddle boating, and more. The gated community of about 250 single family homes is a great getaway, located just a few hours from Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston Salem, and Raleigh. Cell phone signal is descent especially if you have Verizon but wifi calling is available. (check the settings on your phone) This house is the absolute getaway. Pets are ALLOWED for $50 per pet for the stay. Limited to no more than 2 and dogs only. You must make note of the fur babies when you make your reservation. Ms. Bee Havin is about 20 minutes to Boone, 45 mins to Banner Elk and Blowing Rock and West Jefferson. This is the perfect place to stay while going out to enjoy High County festivals, Fly Fishing, the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Appalachian Trail, various wineries, breweries, and some App State Football! Shopping and local restaurants galore!

Driveway will only park two cars. Additional parking available at lot across from the clubhouse next to the silt pond called overflow parking. Please do not park on the street. Internet is Viasat which is satellite internet with a data cap. So please download those shows before you arrive! Closest grocery store is Food Lion top of Elk Creek Rd. Powder horn is about 45-50 mins to the ski slopes for all you snow bunnies. Like horses? Leatherwood is right around the corner and perfect for booking trail walks or sunset picnics! Just minutes to Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, West Jefferson, High County festivals, Fly Fishing, Blue Ridge Mountains, Appalachian Trail,Wineries, Breweries, App State Football! Shopping and local restaurants galore! Trash Pick up every Monday in metal bins in the ground. If you chose to recycle please take it with you! Wood for the fireplace can be ordered from manager or bring your own!

Lovely Cabin
We had a nice stay at this lovely cabin - it had a fantastic view from the back deck of the mountains! The rocking chairs on the deck were very much enjoyed. The kitchen was fully appointed: one of the best that we have experienced. We very much enjoyed the outdoor seating area; along with the cooler mountain weather. Susan was great to work with, especially when we had a little plumbing issue. We really appreciated your prompt response.

Cozy Cabin excellent for large group
Loved the space and layout. Older kids had their own hang out space in the basement and tween girls really enjoyed the loft. Kitchen and basic supplies were well equipped. Parking is tight but we were able to fit two cars in the driveway. Host was attentive precheck in and responded quickly upon arrival when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved this property! It was perfect for 2 families with young kids. When I walked in I was surprised at how modern it was and so many windows. It’s a rarity that properties are even better than the pictures portray. Usually it’s the other way around. We loved it and hope to come back.

Sweet gem in lovely community
We LOVED our stay at MsBeeHavin! The views from the living spaces were incredible. The community had lots of gorgeous walking trails. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with all the pots, pans, and utensils you would need. Fooseball table downstairs was fun. There were lots of thoughtful touches throughout- down to a special mat with dog bowls! The management provided excellent communication and the home was exactly as pictured. Great place for a weekend with our teenage daughter and dog.

Perfect weekend getaway
Clean, easy access, great view, property management team attentive and great hiking trials. Our family includes 18, 19 and 21 year old “kids” and two pups. This cabin was a perfect accommodation for us all! Loved the fireplace, decks and almost like home kitchen..even a grill. Blankets to place on couch so the pups could snuggle. Rocking chairs to enjoy our coffee and view. We will be back again. Thank you!

Most relaxing vacation ever!
This cabin is awesome. The views from the cabin are amazing. We hiked everyday. You can access the trails just a short walk from cabin. One of the most beautiful places we have ever been. We never once ran into anyone else on the trails so we really were able to soak in the beauty for nature and reconnect as a family. We made dinner at the cabin each night and our girls had a blast hanging out in the basement watching movies. Definitely take the short drive to Banner Elk and Blowing Rock.

Perfect mountain weekend getaway!
We had such a great long weekend staying at this property! The location is perfect. So much to do within Powder Mountain, and close to Boone! We stayed with another family and our young children. There was plenty of room and great amenities for all of us. House was spotless and little touches throughout were so appreciated. Kitchen was well stocked too! Susan was so responsive and helpful. We’ll be back :)

Peaceful cabin, lots of hiking
This cabin was peaceful and had plenty of space for our family of 5 to spread out and enjoy. Not a stunning mountain view, but three lovely private decks with peace and quiet. Great for stargazing. Beds were all comfortable. All needed linens and kitchen essentials were provided. The community is just lovely with so many hiking trails, a beautiful creek area, game room and pool at the clubhouse.

Beautiful cabin, incredible view!
Very clean, pretty decor, very relaxing space. Nice amenities, activities (board games and fooseball table) and well-stocked kitchen. Comfortanle beds and furniture. Incredible view, very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed tthe "neighborhood" activities lilke swimming and one of the hiking trails to a waterfall. It was noted as moderate in the guide, but I would categorize it as difficult with all the ropes needed to navigate the narrow and steep elevations. We enjoyed it though and loved that there were so many trails throughout the property.

Must Visit!! 5 Star Cabin
I'm a Floridian who normally does my December vacations at a cabin in the rocky mountains of Colorado. I wish I knew better sooner! My family and I absolutely LOVED this cabin in Deep Gap NC! A nice, clean 3 floor level cabin with plenty of space, beautiful views, and piece and quiet! A great place to get away from the loud city as I'm from Orlando Fl. Susan and her assistant Jill's customer service is TOP NOTCH!! They will respond to any questions or emergencies right away. Jill was even nice enough to bring my kids a couple pizzas during one of the rainy cold days. This cabin is well organized with all the cabinets laminated for your stay. The downstairs basement is its own apartment of its own with its own kitchenette. This place is a MUST STAY! The only warning I will give is, this cabin is absolutely on a Mountain, about 25 mins outside of the city Boone. You will be driving 25 min straight on a very narrow and steep road to get to the cabin. If you are scared of heights and the dark, make sure your checking in before sun down so you can get a hang of the roads on your first day. If you check in after dark like I did, please make sure you have flashlights as it gets very dark on the mountain. But to be honest this made the experience 10 times better for the kids as we drove through the dark mountain at night. Lots of deer and wildlife with tons of hiking trails. My Family Loved This Place!!!!

Thanksgiving with family
I rented the cabin to spend the holiday weekend with my family and it was absolutely amazing he left the coziness and the beauty around it. It was an amazing time for all of us. Cooking in the mountains is a little different we'd have to turn the stove up a little bit higher or things have to cook a little bit longer. The internet it's not very good but it allowed us more time to laugh and enjoy each other. Susan was wonderful and even offered to come pick up the garbage on Thanksgiving Day like I told her to enjoy her own time with her family. We would love to go back in the spring when all the trees are in full bloom
