I first need to say that this house is advertised as a 2 bedroom, but people need to know it is only one bedroom. I do hope that the listing gets corrected, so other guest's plans are not affected by this, as my plans were, as I had a friend who lives in the area who was supposed to be staying with me and I had told her she'd have her own private bedroom, thinking this was a 2 bedroom, as advertised. She ended up not staying with me, seeing it was only 1 bedroom, but other than that situation, I still give it 5 stars because communication with the owner was good and I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the house. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the front porch and hearing the gentle rain in the pines. The pond (more the size of a lake) was absolutely beautiful with beautiful lily pads and I also enjoyed the short walking trail up to the meadow. It would have been nice if the TV had a DVD player, and perhaps that's something the owner might think about adding in the future. I would definitely stay again as it was a much needed quiet and peaceful place to enjoy in a lovely wooded setting. Also, do check out the books the owner has available in the living room. I read "Take the Stairs, " and I could not put that book down. I read the entire book in 2 sittings. That book really transformed my thinking and was a blessing to me. It almost felt like that book was there just waiting for me to pick it up and start reading. That book has given me the motivation to be more focused and disciplined and offered a lot of great insights. There is also a farmers market called Old Time Farmers Market just about 7 minutes down Highway 98 and they're open 6 days a week, Mon-Sat. Overall, I had such a great, relaxing time that I didn't want to leave! I will come back again, but I do hope the listing gets changed to being listed as a 1 bedroom house.
