The Governor's Getaway
The property is a great place to get away and enjoy some time with family. We enjoyed swimming in the pool. Fishing was fun as well catfish for days. Nice sunsets by the fire and just overall a great time with the family.

Unforgettable Stay at a Beautiful Historic Home!
Our recent stay at Betty and Lawrenceās historic home on Pealiquor Road was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we loved the houseās elegance and thoughtful decor, and historic charm.
The property offered everything we needed. We enjoyed playing pool in the game room, fishing and kayaking on the river, and of course the beautiful pool. The fact that the property is pet-friendly was a major highlightāour dog, Maui, had an absolute blast..
We were also impressed by the progress Betty and Lawrence have made with the property. We were thrilled to see the careful updates and preservation efforts that enhanced the homeās character.
A heartfelt thank you to our hosts for their hospitality and for sharing their stunning home with us. We wish them all the best with their ongoing projects and look forward to the possibility of returning next year.
