We checked in on June 26th, during a heat wave. I had a bad feeling when another guest (ahead of me) asked for a fan for their room. Needless to say we checked into our room on the 11th floor- it was pretty warm. As the day progressed, it became increasingly warmer to the point we were nauseous. I was informed by the receptionist the AC WAS working, but not blowing due to excessive heat- the hell it was. It was extremely hot. Later that day, I called the reception area and was informed the entire hotel had 50 fans for 200 rooms and that I was on “the list” for a fan. We only lasted one night and checked out the next morning! The manager Ryan reiterated the AC was working and became defensive saying, “there’s nothing I could do! We’ve been asking corporate to fix the AC for the last eight years!” He had one excuse after another. To add, room carpets were dirty and sticky and the room phone didn’t work.

This hotel claims to have AC, but it’s central air, so you can’t change the temp in your room. Our room was 81 when we got there and we were told that they could come fix it while we were at our show. It was 79 when we got back. We called down again and were told all they could do was bring more fans up. In the morning, the person checking us out was very apologetic and said they have had multiple complaints about it. The manager was supposed to reach out, but I still haven’t heard from anyone. Paying $200 for a room with no air is ridiculous, and the management needs to fix the issue or lower their prices for rooms.

cramped room, old, dirty, smelly, hot no air conditioning and we were told the whole floor was regulated by one thermostat that the hotel controlled, checked in and immediately checked out and found another place to stay. Will never stay here!!

We were told upon check-in that the AC is set to 71° throughout the hotel, we have no control of it in our own rooms, and that the outside heat may affect the temperature. Mind you the temperature in June was upwards of 90°. Our thermostat in our room said 82°. Plus, we were on the 14th floor so it was very warm. The outlets did not work to charge things. The shower was stained yellow on the floor. And the walls were paper, thin and we could hear the people next to us. Our room had no fridge or no microwave. Staff was nice and valet was amazing!

Air conditioner did not work. It was a humid 74* at all times. Had to use a box fan to remotely keep cool. The bathroom sink was clogged and the size of a bowl. Other than the bed being comfortable my trip would’ve been miserable. For the price guests pay for these rooms, you’d think they’d do better!

Don’t go here in the summer, or probably ever
The shower didn’t drain. The breakfast was disgusting. But the worst part is that this place uses a glorified swamp cooler to try and cool their entire hotel. This, of course, does not work, but as one employee told us, they’ve been doing it for years. It is a lie that they have AC. Our room topped out at 85 degrees making sleep nonexistent and time in the hotel miserable. We came to Denver for a two day outdoor event that we knew was going to be brutally hot with mid-nineties temps. A hotel room should then be a respite from the heat, but the room was a sauna. The most uncomfortable stay I’ve ever had.

Excellent downtown location. Poor review primarily due to lack of adequate air conditioning during a summer heat wave. A box fan was provided, but it was too noisy to use constantly. Room was smallish, bathroom was very small with little counter space. One of the elevators was out during our stay which left one elevator for twenty-two floors. The wait was long during peak hours. The only available hotel parking was valet service for an additional $56 per night (plus tips). Probably fairly common downtown, but I wish that would have been mentioned prior to arrival. The two days we were there housekeeping didn’t show up to clean the room until nearly 5 PM. It was a bit inconvenient as we were back in the room after being out all day. Maybe they were running behind schedule waiting for the elevator.
