This place went downhill
Our room smelled like mold. The carpets were damp. They had a bag in the room that was supposed to be changed when it was full of water from being so damp. We asked repeatedly they never changed it. I asked that the room be cleaned they said they did not have enough help. I was there 4 nights. Breakfast was awful. This hotel has went so far down hill in the past year I will not stay here again. The only advantage is it’s close to the fairgrounds but the staff does not care about customer service

We have had the same issue all three weekends we stayed. Our refrigerator did not work in the first 2 rooms, our a/c leaked evwrywhere and soaked our items that were on the floor nearby and even though they were notified the day we checked in, they did nothing to fix it or even move us until the day we checked out, and it says you must request housekeeping services otherwise they do not come in your room, but the one time they came in our room we never asked but all other times we asked for housekeeping they never came. Also there were several homeless people sleeping on a discarded mattress in the parking lot behind the dumpster and upon notifying the front desk, they just said oh ok and nothing was done as they were still there at the end of the weekend.

Desk staff had a bad attitude no towels in the pool area and pool was very cold. Room was clean beds were comfortable breakfast however was very disappointing the gravy was cold the biscuits were cold the waffle iron the waffle cooked on the outside but was still gooey on the inside needs to be replaced the first day they didn't even turn it on I turned it on myself and had to wait for it to warm up the muffins however were terrific nice and moist the hotel itself was clean and quiet easy to sleep TV had plenty of choices of things to watch overall it would have been a very nice place if the pool wouldn't have been freezing there'd been some towels in the pool area and the front desk staff would have been polite instead of rude and acted like it was an inconvenience that I asked for a receipt upon check out one of my keys didn't work the hotel itself was very nice and comfy though and I felt safe I even slept with my window cracked open overall it's a good place just the staff and the food need to have some adjustments

Check in took 20 minutes. When we finally got checked n, there was no remote for the TV. Went to the desk, girl that just checked me in accused me of stealling the remote the night before Then, after getting a remote, found that the tv didn't work. TV wasn't fixed until the following evening

Our A/C leaked all weekend and the maintenance guy coildnt fix it until Sunday night. There were homeless sleeping on their parking lot and the staff said oh well when notified. And the staff seemed bothered and upset every time we apoke to them

we stayed here after a concert so we checked in late at night. tge check in was good. customer service at that time was good. when we got to our room it looked clean and well kept. however the moldy musty smell was over powering. we tried to just deal with it because it was so late but it was unbearable. went back to the desk to speak with them about it and the gentleman was quite rude about it. asked why we waited so long to say anything. i stated ut had only been 30 min since we checked in. he came to the room walked in and asked what the problem was....apparently he was nose blind. we did get another room but with more hassel than necessary.

We could not find the entrace. We had to walk around the building to find it should have had a entrance sign. It is an old old building needs updates. Rooms were okay the lampshades were extremely dusty very noticeable. But the bathrooms were clean and the overall cleanliness was okay. The motel was right across the street from the fairgrounds so that was very convenient for us so we were able to go to the fair and enjoy the day. Easy check in and out.
